It’s always sunny in Wild West

They say no one can survive in the Wild West without a gun and a fast horse. But what about sunscreen? I’m not sure whether the hero of this funny vignette by Megacolormix has enough sunscreen in his wagon, but the horse looks particularly excited for the journey. Actually, this is a perfect example of how emotions can be expressed through shape and posture. You don’t need that many different printed faces if you know how to place your characters in the shot. The scenery behind the wagon is a little piece of art; the forced perspective works perfectly here, creating a vast desert stretching to the horizon.

Wild West in sunny bricks!

Year: 2020. Location: my bedroom

Stop for a moment and listen. Can you hear the whole world signing with relief as we say goodbye to 2020? There are so many things we want to be different in 2021, but probably it’s not about my bedroom, which I have to stay in since March. Changing the scene now is almost impossible unless you join Jonas Kramm and his fabulous vignettes. Earlier this year, he shared a wonderful collection of interiors, and now one more room joins the company.

08 - Bedroom

As usual, Jonas is at his best when mixing elements from different themes and eras. For instance, an old fence piece from Fabuland is used as a footboard for the bed. The whole build is a wonderful collection of ideas waiting to be borrowed by numerous fan builders.

LEGO Harry Potter 76382 Hogwarts Moment: Transfiguration Class [Review]

Very often, when we say Harry Potter, we mean books about magic and wizardry, and when we mention books about magic and wizards, of course, we talk about Harry Potter. In today’s popular culture, those two have become synonymous in many contexts. LEGO doesn’t miss the opportunity to turn the phenomena into something both LEGO and Harry Potter fans will love and adore; this way comes the new lineup of Hogwarts Moments — midsized sets designed as buildable books that can be unfolded into Hogwarts classrooms. The first in the series is 76382 Transfiguration Class capturing one of Professor McGonagall’s lectures. The set consists of just 241 pieces and comes with three minifigures. The set will be available in January 2021 for US $29.99 | CAN $39.99 | UK £27.99.

The LEGO Group provided The Brothers Brick with an early copy of this set for review. Providing TBB with products for review guarantees neither coverage nor positive reviews.
