Pandora is calling in these four new LEGO sets based on the Avatar franchise. Debuting today at San Diego Comic-Con, we see an expansion of the toy line from the previously-announced 75574: Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls. Much like the set revealed during LEGO Con 2022, three of these models depict scenes from the first Avatar movie. But we also get 40554: Jake Sully & his Avatar in BrickHeadz form. Who knows what other new sets the upcoming movie, Avatar: The Way of Water, will bring! All the sets here will be released on October 1st, with 75572: Jake & Neytiri’s First Banshee Flight available for pre-order on July 21st through the LEGO website. And the BrickHeadz set will be a LEGO-exclusive, available only through their brick-and-mortar stores or LEGO.com.

LEGO Con 2022 debuts new prequel-era Star Wars sets, including 75323 The Justifier from season 1 of The Bad Batch [News]
At LEGO Con 2022, the company has just announced two new LEGO Star Wars sets: 75337 LEGO® Star Wars™ AT-TE™ Walker and 75323 LEGO® Star Wars™ The Justifier™. While this will mark the 5th iteration of the AT-TE in minifigure-scale, this is the first time we see one crewed by the legendary Commander Cody. It’s been over a decade since Obi-Wan’s right-hand clone has made an appearance on the shelves. Another familiar LEGO face last seen about 10 years ago, Cad Bane, pilots the Justifier. We also see a brand new Omega minifigure in this set, having been excluded from the previously released 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle. Both sets clock in at over 1,000 pieces, and will be available for purchase August 1st.
Amid record profits, LEGO announces price increases for second half of 2022 [News]
Today LEGO is announcing that it will be raising the base MSRP on many of its products for the second half of 2022, rolling out in August and September. LEGO reported its annual operating profits grew by 32 percent in 2021, resulting in the company earning a record nearly $2 billion USD net profit last year. New sets will have the price increase factored in, and about a quarter of existing sets will also be affected. The company has not released details on the specifics of how much we can expect prices to increase, but says that smaller sets may only go up by a few percent, while larger sets will be affected more drastically. LEGO is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, also known as ABS, which is a type of petroleum-based plastic, and LEGO says the recent world events affecting the price of oil have impacted its supply chains. Although LEGO is working toward creating plant-based renewable plastic for its bricks, only a few elements are currently made with the non-petroleum-based product.
Here’s the official press release from LEGO:
The current global economic challenges of increased raw material and operating costs are impacting many businesses.
Putting consumers first is at the heart of what we do as a company, and for some time, we have absorbed these costs to keep pricing stable. However, as these costs have continued to rapidly rise, we have taken the decision to increase the price on some of our sets. This increase will come into effect in August and September.
The increase will differ depending on the set and prices will change on around a quarter of the portfolio. On some sets we will not alter price, on others there will be a single digit increase and on larger, more complex sets the percentage increase will be higher.
We will continue to work to ensure our products offer great value and full recognise how important this is to our fans and everyone who love our products.

Three new Obi-Wan Kenobi LEGO Star Wars sets revealed, including Jedi Starfighter and BrickHeadz [News]
Straight from the deserts of Tatooine, LEGO has premiered three new Star Wars sets today, all of them based on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series set to debut Friday, 5/27, on Disney+. These sets bring back some familiar faces from past Star Wars ventures beyond the titular Jedi, whether it’s a new Darth Vader Brickheadz design, or the Inquisitors of Star Wars Rebels fame in a new Krennic-esque transport. But the big milestone for LEGO in these sets appears in 75333 LEGO® Star Wars™ Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter™. Not only does this set offer an updated version of the starfighter, but it also includes Taun We, the first-ever Kaminoan minifigure outside of a video game. While the BrickHeadz set isn’t available for preorder, the two ships can be purchased now on LEGO’s website for shipment on August 1st.

C-3PO is a new print that’s unique even from the one in this year’s 75339 Death Star Trash Compactor. LEGO Harry Potter Summer 2022 sets revealed, including 12 Grimmauld Place, Shrieking Shack and more [News]
Today LEGO has revealed six new Harry Potter sets today, publishing the listings on their website. The sets span the full breadth from the small, 121-piece 76400 Hogwarts Carriage and Thestrals up to the large 1,083-piece 76408 12 Grimmauld Place. That’s the first time 12 Grimmauld Place has been a LEGO set, and the Ministry of Magic also gets a first appearance. Of course, the sets include lots of new minifigure designs for old favorites, and there are even some brand new characters that have never been in minifigure form before, such as Albert Runcorn, Mafalda Hopkirk, and Reg & Mary Cattermole. Several of the sets continue the modular Hogwarts system that LEGO’s been developing for a number of years, with some of them beginning to revisit locations featured in previous modular Hogwarts sets, such as the Womping Willow. LEGO reveals Disney Pixar’s Lightyear sets with Buzz Lightyear’s 76832 XL-15 Spaceship and more [News]
LEGO has just taken the wraps off three sets based on the upcoming Pixar movie Lightyear. Slated to release in June, the film is a prequel of sorts to Toy Story and follows the adventures of a young Buzz Lightyear. The three-set wave features two regular sets, with Buzz’s 76832 XL-15 Spaceship (US $49.99 | CAN $64.99 | UK £44.99) clearly targeting an older market with a UCS-style info placard on the display stand, plus one 4+ set aimed at younger builders. As is often the case with movie tie-in sets, all three will be available well ahead of the movie’s release, starting April 24.
The movie’s director, Angus MacLane, a well-known LEGO fan and creator of the LEGO Ideas Wall-E set submission, is clearly excited about the film’s LEGO tie-ins, tweeting this earlier today:
As an AFOL, I really wanted some new transparent yellow canopies. So I figured I’d make a movie that would require them. SPACE! #Lightyear #LEGO https://t.co/U56t9zLqai
