Today LEGO has taken the wraps off the next large vehicle in the newly rebranded Icons theme (formerly Creator Expert), revealing the 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Based on the iconic 1969 muscle car, the Camaro Z28 will include 1,458 pieces and comes with the option to build as a hard top or convertible. You can also choose to include dark red, white, or light grey racing stripes, or choose between classic and hideaway headlights. It follows 10295 Porsche 911 Turbo & 911 Targa and 10298 Vespa 125 in the Icons vehicle collection. The Camaro will be available starting Aug. 1 for US $169.99 | CAN $209.99 | UK £149.99.

12th July 2022: Today, the LEGO Group announces its latest vintage car set, the iconic LEGO® Chevrolet Camaro Z28. The new set is a detailed recreation of one of the slickest muscle cars of all time, beloved by automotive enthusiasts from when it launched in the late 60s through to today.
The new LEGO set brilliantly detailed with functional elements including a working steering wheel, an intensely detailed engine and opening and closing doors. Allowing builders to customise the car to their desired design, the vehicle comes in gloss black with the iconic racing stripes available in red, white or grey. You can also choose to build it as a hard top or a convertible, plus choose classic or hideaway headlights to complete the look.

I’m not a car guy, even though I love Lego cars. I swear, I couldn’t tell the difference between these pictures and my Lego Ford Mustang from across the room, except the color of course. I think that may make me pass on this one.
New fender looks awesome. Not stoked on $/part ratio and the generic wheels. A Chevy Rallye wheel or at least printed Lego round tile with that pattern would have been great.

Overall a nice looking addition to the big creator cars collection, but a slightly pricey for what it is compared to what came before.
After the Porsche, I was hoping all prints and no stickers would be the new norm for this line. Still, this looks excellent. Can’t wait to pick it up
