This Star Wars ship sets a new standard for LEGO Jedi Masters

I’ve been eagerly waiting for Instagram user TWP (@nl_twp) to complete his latest model, and it’s finally ready! While the Eta-2 Actis interceptor has been the subject of many a LEGO build, this has to be one of the best ones out there. The way all the angles match up is just sumptuous! One of TWP’s goals with this build was to incorporate a full Astromech body into the wing (something which even in the movies requires some considerable suspension of disbelief). The use of an arch piece is wonderfully integrated and works perfectly for this very purpose. Over 200 hours went into this and the thought really shows!

I encourage you to go and check out all the details – there’s a surprising amount to pore over, given the modest size of the ship. But to whet your appetite here’s a shot of the opening and fully detailed cockpit in its landed configuration. I love the use of the transparent minifigure stands for the head-up display!

This is the Jedi starfighter you’re looking for

You don’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to see Koen Zwanenburg‘s LEGO build of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s starship from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. One of the sure things about the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy is the beauty of the spaceships zipping around the galaxy. This take on the Delta-7 Jedi starfighter does the on-screen ship justice. Every angle is present, and the color scheme has just as much pop. I’ve always loved the green accents in the Republic color palette–it really gives the ships something special. Koen captures the different layers of the ship seamlessly. I really can’t stop looking at this build! Of course, this has always been one of my favorite ships from the Star Wars franchise… I can’t wait to see what ship Koen takes on next.

Three new Obi-Wan Kenobi LEGO Star Wars sets revealed, including Jedi Starfighter and BrickHeadz [News]

Straight from the deserts of Tatooine, LEGO has premiered three new Star Wars sets today, all of them based on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series set to debut Friday, 5/27, on Disney+. These sets bring back some familiar faces from past Star Wars ventures beyond the titular Jedi, whether it’s a new Darth Vader Brickheadz design, or the Inquisitors of Star Wars Rebels fame in a new Krennic-esque transport. But the big milestone for LEGO in these sets appears in 75333 LEGO® Star Wars™ Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter™. Not only does this set offer an updated version of the starfighter, but it also includes Taun We, the first-ever Kaminoan minifigure outside of a video game. While the BrickHeadz set isn’t available for preorder, the two ships can be purchased now on LEGO’s website for shipment on August 1st.

We’ve got more on these new Star Wars sets below, and you can also check out the other upcoming LEGO releases for Summer 2022:
