The LEGO Star Wars 75252 UCS Imperial Star Destroyer and 10267 Winter Village Gingerbread House are now available from the LEGO Shop online as of the 1st of October. The LEGO Star Wars Battle of Endor Micro Build will be available as a free gift with purchase on sales over $75 on Triple Force Friday (4th -6th October) together with Double VIP Points for Star Wars purchases.

LEGO partners with BBC’s Top Gear for new Technic set [News]

Today, LEGO has joined with BBC Studios to create a new set based on the hit TV show Top Gear, according to a new report by industry magazine License Global. The current iteration of the long-running show will be entering its 28th season next year, continuing to bring its peculiar blend of automotive news and creative hijinks to audiences around the world. The new set will be a LEGO Technic model and will presumably be a vehicle of some sort,  and we’ll be sure to bring our readers an update once more is known about the set. New LEGO Star Wars sets announced for Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian [News]

The LEGO Group today announced eight new building sets inspired by the Star WarsTM galaxy, which will become available on Triple Force Friday, October 4. The toys range from $19.99 to $159.99 and are based on the upcoming film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the highly anticipated Disney+ live-action series The Mandalorian, and classic characters and scenes from the first eight chapters of the Skywalker saga. These sets add to the LEGO Group’s continued celebration of the 20th anniversary of the much-loved LEGO® Star Wars range that continues to unite fans of all ages all around the globe.

The Pirate Bay, 123 Sesame Street, and Playable LEGO Piano projects are the new LEGO Ideas sets [News]

LEGO Ideas First 2019 review results have just arrived. During the first-ever review results live stream on the LEGO Ideas Facebook page hosted by Samuel Johnson (LEGO Ideas Design Manager) and Hasan Jensen (LEGO Ideas Engagement Manager). Not one, not two, but three LEGO fan-projects — The Pirate Bay project by Bricky_Brick, 123 Sesame Street project by bulldoozer21, and Playable LEGO Piano project by SleepyCow have been announced to become the next official LEGO Ideas sets.

LEGO and Amazon launch a Mindstorms voice-powered robotics challenge [News]

LEGO and Amazon are launching a new “Mindstorms Voice Challenge: Powered by Alexa” for developers and LEGO robotics fans with some serious prizes up for grabs. The challenge is to envision and create new ways that voice controls can work with LEGO.

More than $100,000 worth of prizes are available, with the grand prize winner receiving $20,000 in Amazon gift cards, tons of LEGO sets, and a trip to LEGO Headquarters in Denmark. You can get a $150 Amazon gift card just by entering.

The LEGO Star Wars line’s latest massive set in the Ultimate Collector Series is 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer, clocking in at a whopping 4,784 pieces and two minifigures, with a price to match the part count (US $699.99 | CAN $849.99 | UK £649.99). Depicting Darth Vader’s flagship Devastator seen at the end of Rogue One leading into the first moments of A New Hope, this is the first UCS ISD since 10030 in 2002 and the first UCS set since 75181 Y-wing Starfighter nearly 18 months ago. Christmas themed BrickHeadz LEGO 40353 Reindeer, Elf and Elfie revealed [News]

Another Brickheadz set has been revealed by retailer mir-kubikov. It will be released in the near future for the upcoming holiday season. Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be joined by LEGO set 40353 featuring a Reindeer, Elf, and Elfie. The set comes with add-on builds to complement seasonal scenes.
