TBB NEWS AND REVIEWS Summer is here, and what better way to celebrate than a wave of LEGO sets from many popular themes like Star Wars, Mario, Botanicals, Architecture, Icons, and more. The iconic AT-ST returns as part of the summer wave, this time, in UCS style. Architecture fans have a lot to get excited about, with one of the most recognizable real-world castles, Neuschwanstein Castle, and a trio of smaller bonsai trees from the Botanical theme are super-cute. TBB FEATURES & INTERVIEWS Custom minifigures are the theme of this week’s features, from British historicals to Animal Crossing X Dungeons & Dragons mashups. June was Pride month, and Love + LEGO is a natural combination this week, with an interview and a minifig habitat feature.

Harry Potter, Minecraft, and Ninjago announced new sets, including a pretty epic green dragon. We also saw a new set announced that I hope will be the first of many book nook folding scenes from literary favorites, starting with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s master detective, Sherlock Holmes. TBB NEWS AND REVIEWS This week was Star Wars Celebration in Japan, so it should be no surprise that much of our news and review content centered on a galaxy far, far away — from the latest UCS set to a buildable K-2SO just in time for Season 2 of the hit series Andor on Disney+.

New Star Wars sets revealed this week include an updated U-wing, more helmets, everyone’s favorite war criminal, Chopper, and an update to the most notorious firespray gunship in the galaxy.
