This is what we’re all about. We scour the web for the best custom LEGO models to share with you. From castles and spaceships to planes, trains, and automobiles, you’ll find the best LEGO creations from builders all over the world right here on The Brothers Brick.

Enormous LEGO Technic F-14 Tomcat by Jeroen Ottens

Jeroen Ottens‘ brother Maarten sends word of Jeroen’s massive F-14 Tomcat, built entirely from LEGO Technic elements:

Although this plane isn’t new, it’s new to Flickr, and noteworthy because it helped get Jeroen a job as a LEGO Technic set designer. Indeed, the open framework and functionality are reminiscent of official sets, though the scale is off the charts.

(And besides, one brother suggesting another brother’s creation for The Brothers Brick is sure to win our hearts.)

Micro space creations from Dan Jassim

Long time space hero Dan Jassim has taken a break from retirement to present a batch of microscale space creations. Here are highlights of four of them, induding the Blacktron Destroyer, Space Skulls Battlecruiser, Exploriens Starship, and Unknown Bad Guy Assault Ship.

See them all in the post on Classic-Space.

Mike Psiaki’s Savoia S-21

A new creation by Mike Psiaki (Brickshelf) is nice to see, but when that new creation is a Savoia S-21 seaplane inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s Porco Rosso, well, it’s that much more awesome.

Brando Bulldog the Butcher

I don’t know if it’s true, but I’ve always credited Mark “Hinckley” Larson with starting the whole Fabuland trend way back when with his Fabuland Housewives series.

Mark’s latest Fabuland creation features Brando Bulldog and his lovely house:

A pencil inside a mug

I’m not entirely happy with Donna, the 10th Doctor’s most recent companion. I was kind of hoping Astrid Peth (played by a shockingly young-looking Kylie Minogue) would join The Doctor on his journeys through space and time, but that was not to be.

Anyway, that doesn’t detract from how cool I think Ochre Jelly‘s latest Miniland figures are, inspired by Doctor Who:

Yes, Donna’s screaming. What else would she be doing?

Gundam Kyrios

Adrian Florea (Olog) is not only a great builders, but a diverse one as well. Check out this Gundam model of Gundam Kyrios, posing formidably on in an aerial stance. This work along with some others will be featured at a small exhibition of anime based MOCs at a japanese teahouse in Romania.

Heading out to the backcountry

Alex Eylar‘s longing to escape the reality of “the worst college quarter yet” takes him to look towards Disneyland, where this creation took inspiration from the Grizzly River Run ride, depicting “a ridge somewhere in the northern California wilderness, complete with tumbling waterfall and quasi-hippie river guides.”

Dragon Ball Z Kame House and minifigs

Before you look at the pretty picture:
Q: Is this set for sale?
A: This is not an official set from LEGO, and no, it’s not for sale.

Minific customization master Nick (NickGreat) recently built the Kame House from Dragonball Z in a pseudo LEGO set style. Unfortunately this is the only picture I can find:

But meanwhile, check out Nick’s selection of the highest quality custom Dragonball Z character minifigs:

Classic Creations: Henry Lim’s Stegosaurus

I’ve been looking at some of the older creations that inspired me when I first discovered the online Lego community and I realized that many people may not have seen these. We never featured them here on The Brothers Brick for the simple reason that the blog didn’t exist then. So, from time to time, I am going to highlight some the classic creations of years gone by.

First up is a Stegosaurus by Henry Lim. Selected to be a Lugnet Cool Site of the Week in November of 2000, this Stegosaurus still has the ability to amaze.

Ant

A very small insect, megasized by Jerac:

Take a closer look, if you’re not an insectophobe, and note the lovely antennae and the construction techniques Jerac used on the feet. Very nice.

Have we mentioned the overwhelming air superiority of Ralph Savelsberg?

I think it’s come up a couple times.

Ralph Savelsberg continues to amaze the world not just with the quality of his creations but the sheer quantity. The kicker is obvious from the picture above. He keeps many of them built!

His latest aircraft include an AH-1W SuperCobra and F-5E Tiger:

US Navy Sea King and HH-1N helicopters:

But my favorite is his most recent (and smallest) — a Predator UAV:
