The most adorable LEGO Loki you’ll see this week
Now imagine for a moment: you are a world-famous artist and LEGO builder with thousands of subscribers among your social feeds. You combine plastic bricks, memes, movies, and celebrities like no one other, building the reality the way only you can. You know exactly what fans want, and you can give them that and even more. When building a tribute to Loki, how hard could it be to include Mobius on ski jet? But for some reason, TBB alumnus Iain Heath decided not to include Owen Wilson’s latest character altogether. I totally get it: the brick-built alligator Loki deserves its own official LEGO set, but what’s wrong with some fun on a jet ski..?
All poking fun at our friend Iain aside, we love this lineup of LEGO Lokis. Despite the relatively small scale, he’s managed to capture the personality of each of the characters perfectly.

May the gonk be with you, always
Speaking of LEGO Ultimate Collector Series sets, it seems that fans only care about giant models of famous vehicles and starships. But what about droids, especially the most essential ones? Jared Reisweber pays tribute to the unnoticed workhorse, the iconic Gonk Droid. I think this large-scale build looks gorgeous. All the buttons, wires, and indicators are spot-on, and how can you not like those adorable feet? The only thing I would change is the amount of weathering, but who needs a beat-up droid?
A Formula 1 car with a handsome nose
German LEGO fan Sven aka Tenderlok built an excellent model of the famous Tyrrell 019 Formula 1 car. The car debuted in the season of 1990 and set a whole new direction for racing engineers thanks to its innovative nose shape. The new “raised nose cone“ let more air under the car, which resulted in higher speeds. I think the brick-built front wing looks fantastic. The whole structure is actually upside down, with no open studs to be seen on both sides of the wing. This gives the model great model-making vibes as if it was glued together and painted by hand.
Sven also built the Cosworth V8 engine and worked closely on the cockpit. With the cowling removed, note the engine’s fairly detailed design. All the stickers are a nice touch, too.
