LEGO adds 10299 Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium to its football stadium lineup [News]

LEGO football fans now have another club to root for with the reveal of LEGO’s newest sports stadium set, 10299 Real Madrid – Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The 5,876-piece set features the home of Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary as well as the stadium’s 75th. Like previous stadiums, Santiago Bernabéu includes details like a removable roof and the ability to split the model in half to access the field and other interior features. The set will be available starting March 1 for US $349.99 | CAN $449.99 | UK £309.99.

With 5,500 pieces, 10284 Camp Nou FC Barcelona is newest LEGO Creator Expert football stadium [News]

After teasing it earlier this week, LEGO is officially taking the wraps off its new Creator Expert set, expanding its foray into sporting venues with FC Barcelona’s famous 50-year-old arena, Camp Nou. Using 5,509 pieces, 10284 Camp Nou FC Barcelona depicts the largest-in-Europe stadium that’s home to the FC Barcelona football club. Once built, the model measures more than 18 inches wide and 8 inches tall. Camp Nou follows on the heels of LEGO’s previous football arena, 10272 Old Trafford-Manchester United, which was released in early 2020. Camp Nou is available starting today in LEGO stores and online for US $349.99 | CAN $449.99 | UK £299.99.

LEGO teases the new Camp Nou Stadium set [News]

The release of the new ultimate stadium building set is coming, as LEGO is teasing the model on social feeds. The first look at the brick-built Camp Nou Stadium confirms that the new build will be on the same scale and size as the last year’s 10272 Old Trafford-Manchester United, so we should expect approximately the same number of pieces and the price tag.

David Beckham receives a set of LEGO Stadiums for teams he’s played for during his career

What do you do when you hear of a famous Celebrity Fan of LEGO coming to town? You find out where he’s heading and you build him something that he would be delighted to have, and that’s what a few friends from Seoul, South Korea did when they found out the legendary David Beckham was coming to town. Led by Brian Yu the BrickMaster LUG recreated five iconic football stadiums that are homes for five clubs Beckham had played for during his professional career.

88′ Seoul Olympic Stadium

The Games of the XXIV Olympiad were hosted in Seoul, South Korea from 17 September to 2 October back in 1988 and the principle stadium has been recreated in microscale by Yo-Sub Joo (ysomt). 8,391 athletes from 160 nations participated in the games and in case you’re wondering how the home team fared; South Korea took home a total of 33 medals including 12 gold!
