We’re getting our first look at the Spring 2022 wave of LEGO Dots thanks to LEGO and German retailer JB Spielwaren. This new lineup focuses on message boards and bag tags using the standard Dots system of various 1×1 tiles. The sets are slated to be available March 1.

Dots and Art are kind of the same thing. Only scale is different.
Maybe it’s just me but these sets (dots and art) seem cool at first now become boring and lazy of Lego. All they need to do is to pixelize a picture and supply the material which are fairly common colors at this point.
Whoa are those corner bread loaf tiles (I think they are technically called slope 1x1x2/3 double curve?) new parts!? New to me at least.
It would be awesome to one day see a similar part, but on a 2×2 macaroni tile too.
Dots and art are also boring to me for the most part, but I guess that is kinda the point. Lego is specifically targeting arts&crafts aisle types with these sets, they’re just not aimed at existing AFOLs in the way something like a city or Technic set is.

They need to find the resources which would allow them to come up with something truly spectacular.
