3 new LEGO Technic sets revealed for Spring 2022, including ATV and transforming tank [News]

Three new LEGO Technic sets for Spring 2022 have been revealed by German retailer JB Spielwaren. The sets include a small telehandler set, a six-wheeled ATV, and an interesting remote-controlled tank that has a transforming mechanism. The tank is a racing vehicle on one side, but flip it over and it becomes an arctic exploration vehicle. The tank utilizes LEGO’s Control+ app to pair with a phone or tablet. Each of the sets should be available March 1.

    No surprises here.
Actually, the tank-like vehicles are kind of dull. I got a few of the previous models only for the motors, which are more expensive to buy alone.

I do wish LEGO would make some of their remote control vehicles without the need for a phone. I don’t want my kids to have any more screen time than necessary, and it means i have to keep a phone around for years to be able to enjoy the Lego, through updates, changes in OS, and the rest. Why not allow us some functionality with an in the box remote that doesn’t need a screen and the app if we want it. Won’t buy any of those, sorry Lego.

What crap. I don’t understand what the creators at lego are doing? The technics line hasn’t been interesting for years. I mean if the set is interesting it’s 400 dollars, what happened to sets like 8043 and 8110, which were expensive but reasonable for what you get. I really think they are trying to be to technologically advance with something that doesn’t need to be. Keep it simple stoopid.
