Luke Chapman‘s vignette is hilarious, but it wouldn’t have been featured without the bubbling acid effects, which I’ve only seen in one other place. I wonder what R2’s thinking.

Fulton’s Revenge: a steampunk schooner
Jordan Schwartz finished a three month project on making a “steam-powered, schooner-shaped paddleboat.” Although there are many classic sea vessels and pirate ships, a large-sized steampunk ship is quite a delicacy. You can see this great build in person if you’re coming to BrickFair later this month.
Indiana Jones from the perspective of Brick Adventures
Brian Williams brought an incredible Indiana Jones display to BrickWorld, which featured intricately lighted scenes in addition to the overall layout (even the banner is a LEGO mosaic). The display won the “World of Lights” award for its best use of lights at the convention, all 128 hand-wired LEDs to be exact.
The Lamborghini Showroom is made for luxury
Firas Abu-Jaber presents his largest project to date: the Lamborghini Showroom, featuring the amazing cars from this talented builder. I like the stylish yet simple appearance of the building, yet the interior is nothing short of detailed. Check out the gallery for close-ups and the builder’s thoughts on this fine creation.
Brick-buildin’ the Chinese opera!
Vincent Cheung‘s Chinese opera display is an incredible work of art that captures the essences of one of the oldest drama art forms in the world. The creation depicts the iconic colorful costume with its intricate designs and even the painted/masked face. The whole build is nothing short of gorgeous.

The new Sith Venom stikes fear into Jedi Knights
It’s been more than four years since Dan Jassim posted his original Sith Venom on MOCpages. Recently, Dan revamped the model to include prominent changes such as a more dynamic cockpit design and added greebles in the grooves on the sides of the ship.

VOTOMS Scopedog
Johnny Tang built the Scopedog mecha from VOTOMS in all its armored magnificence. The creation stands about 1.5 feet tall and features a furnished cockpit revealed in the video below.

Editor’s note: This creation incorporates large amounts of non-LEGO elements from a brand called BTR or “Built to Rule,” from Hasbro. Despite featuring “mixed media” creations from builders like nnenn, something with quite so many clone bricks is a first for TBB, and has sparked off an interesting discussion in the comments. I can hear the thump
It must be the Dawn Forge. Brian Kescenovitz brought this giant walker in a diorama to BrickWorld this year. In the scale of a minifig-populated scene, it clearly trumps everything in sight.

Read more about the creation on MOCpages.
LEGO Pirates tic tac toe
A new set has appeared on LEGO Shop at Home: LEGO Pirates Tic Tac Toe
! It’s not up for sale yet, but we suspect it soon will be. Hopefully the cost will not exceed that of the previous Castle tic tac toe at $14.99, and 10 figures would make for a great battle pack.

Battlestar Galactica hangar bay
Stefan’s (-2×4-) Battlestar Galactica hanger, comparable to ChiefLUG’s, is an impressive display for a one man build. The tiles on the dividers add a nice texture to contrast with the smooth floor and wall.
Public Library
Johan van den Heuvel (Teddy) uses his master LEGO architecture skills to create this public library that fits well into a modular town layout. The Greek revival style of the building is truly well done. Check out the gallery for more photos showing a peaceful courtyard in the back.
