LEGO Star Wars is one of the most popular LEGO themes of all time. Far beyond X-wings and TIE fighters, there’s a whole expanded universe of inspiration, and an army of LEGO fans ready to build whatever comes out of George Lucas’s head next.

Echo Station 3-T-8, we have spotted Imperial Walkers!

I’ve always been a fan of the classics. When you see something great in a familiar shape, you know it’s a build with a lot of heart put into it, like this AT-AT or All Terrain Armoured Transport by tastenmann77. Standing at 18 inches in height and 100 percent grey, it’s a menacing reminder of the strength of the Imperial forces.

While resembling a dog in shape (and often parodied as such in pop culture), these machines were actually inspired by an extinct genus of hornless rhinoceros. I can’t imagine what will the minds at Lucasfilm will think of next—gorilla-inspired walkers? I hope not!

LEGO Star Wars 75205 Mos Eisley Cantina: How does the 2018 version stack up? [Review]

As it begins to arrive, the January wave of LEGO Star Wars sets brings old familiar scenes as well as new ones. Along with numerous vehicles and locations from The Last Jedi, this wave also returns all the way back to 1977 with a new version of the Mos Eisley Cantina. Set 75205 Mos Eisley Cantina includes 378 pieces and comes with a sticker price of $39.99. It’s also the third LEGO version of the watering hole in the galaxy’s most wretched hive of scum and villainy, so we’ll see how it stacks up, both on its own and in comparison to previous versions.

Then one sandy Christmas eve, Yoda came to say, Bantha with your nose so brown, won’t you guide my sleigh to town!

I always enjoy making a Christmas-themed build when the season comes around, and having built a Santa’s arrival scene last year that would be hard to top (even if I do say so myself), I wanted to do something a bit different and more fun this year. I’ve had those minifigures from the LEGO Star Wars advent calendars sitting on top of my shelf for quite a while, so this was the perfect chance to put one of them to use. Plus I’ve always wanted to build a Bantha.

Bantha the brown nosed...Bantha...

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas—and not just on Hoth

Hang the mistletoe, roll out the yule log, and saddle up your tauntauns, because Andreas Lenander has built a fabulous LEGO Star Wars-Christmas mashup. (Alas, this LEGO creation doesn’t have anything to do with a certain notorious holiday film.) This jolly parade of villains and heroes features several exclusive minifigures from Advent Calendars released over the years and one adorable chibi AT-AT.

Merry star wars christmas

And, for those of you eager to build your very own chibi AT-AT, Andreas has posted free 3D instructions for his creation on the Brixtar app.
