LEGO Star Wars is one of the most popular LEGO themes of all time. Far beyond X-wings and TIE fighters, there’s a whole expanded universe of inspiration, and an army of LEGO fans ready to build whatever comes out of George Lucas’s head next.

Jabba ruled with fear. I intend to rule with respect.

This LEGO creation by Omar R Ovalle is not the first we’ve seen from The Book of Boba Fett lately. Not by a long shot. Unless you’ve been slowly digesting in a Sarlacс pit these past couple of months you’d know the pivotal series on Disney+ is one of the most talked about streaming shows currently. (You were hot, Bridgerton, but not Boba Fett hot!) Anyway, the point I was trying to make is we’ve seen plenty of Fett stuff but rarely do we see anything in this scale. Omar has taken the official Boba Fett Buildable Figure set but customized it to fit the series in which Boba combines his old armor with garb given to him by Tusken Raiders. Beside him is a very convincing Fennec Shand whom I think (but don’t quote me) is a repurposed Rey figure. The throne in which they sit and the arch behind them is nothing short of brilliant.

Jet pack jumps perplex jealous Pykes.

Jonas Kramm has been doing a series of vignette builds to commemorate the induvial episodes of The Book of Boba Fett. His latest features Boba Fett and Din Djarin teaming up in the final episode’s climatic end battle. Rocketing upwards in their jetpacks, Boba and Din have gained the high ground in their battle against the Pyke Syndicate. Jonas’s vignette perfectly captures the feel of the architecture in the city of Mos Espa, from the arched doorway to the well-greebled moisture vaporator. And the angle of the photo makes it feel like the two Mandalorians are hanging in the air like magic. But, if this build is for the last episode, does it mean no more vignettes are coming our way? LEGO Star Wars 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter revealed from The Book of Boba Fett [News]

Just yesterday we got our first look at one of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars sets from The Book of Boba Fett with 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room, and today we’re already getting a look at another. 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter has been revealed thanks to Amazon, and features the silver-clad warrior’s new matching ship, along with Grogu, Peli Motto, and a BD Droid. The set will include 412 pieces and is available to pre-order now for US $59.99 | CAN $79.99 | UK £54.99, with a release date of June 1.

LEGO Star Wars 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room from The Book of Boba Fett revealed [News]

With the final episode of The Book of Boba Fett having aired this past week, the LEGO sets based on it are soon to follow. Today, images of LEGO’s latest Star Wars set, 75326 Boba Fett’s Throne Room, have been revealed on Amazon.de. It’s no spoiler that Boba Fett takes over Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine after the crime lord’s demise, and this set features the palace throne room as it appears under new leadership. The set includes seven minifigures: Boba Fett, Fennec Shand and Bib Fortuna, along with four unnamed characters: a Theelin Dancer, a Quarren, a Gamorrean Guard, and a Weequay Guard. The set has 732 pieces and it’s listed for an availability date of Feb. 15, though that’s likely a preorder date. We expect it will be released March 1 for an estimated US $99.99 | CAN $139.99 | UK £89.99.

Cruising the Star Wars galaxy with my homie, Grogu

If you haven’t seen the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett then give this LEGO ship by Alex Jones a like or a heart and move on without reading ahead. But be sure to catch it when you can. If you have seen it then oh boy! A couple of episodes back when Peli revealed the refurbished N-1 Starfighter she was working on for Mando we got just a little taste of foreshadowing. Seeing the pre-Empire ship was cool enough in itself. It was admittedly not the replacement for the Razorcrest Mando had hoped for at first but with it being souped-up and off-the-grid like a refurbished one-of-a-kind classic hot rod, he warmed up to it. However, the bubble dome in place of where an Astromech would go… clued us in that someday Grogu would sit there. Fast forward to the last scene of the final episode and we were served a heaping albeit adorable helping of fan service!

Grogu’s Force lessons

I don’t think it’s any secret that most people’s favorite The Book of Boba Fett episodes were largely Fett-less. Jonas Kramm has paid tribute to the show’s identity crisis with his latest build based on Episode 6. In this scene, the child Grogu faces off against a Jedi Training Droid on the planet where Luke is establishing his new school. Jonas has packed a lot of accurate detail into this 14×14 vignette, from the bamboo forest to the flintlock weapons used as twigs in the water. I appreciate the round quarter 1×1 tile in Ashoka’s hand, acting as the small package that the Mandalorian left for his foundling. But, perhaps the most accurate detail of all is that this scene also contains an entirely artificial recreation of Mark Hamill. LEGO Star Wars Helmets: 75343 Dark Trooper, 75328 The Mandalorian, & 75327 Luke Skywalker (Red Five) [Review]

The Helmets Series has been a massive success since its introduction, capturing iconic characters across Star Wars, Marvel, and DC. While the troopers and TIE pilot may excite some, Boba Fett and Darth Vader proved to be the great lures for dual fans of LEGO and Star Wars, especially those who grew up with the original trilogy. After all, the set’s 18+ rating was definitely targeted at the more…tenured fans. Given how many helmets have permeated the slew of related works though, the designers have a wealth of inspiration for their next models. Much like the fans, the designers must have felt like something was missing. We got plenty of “bad guys” but where were the “hero” helmets? Well, two out of three new helmets recently announced by LEGO may debatably balance things out:

This 5,000+ piece, 6+ pound Slave-1 is worth risking a disintegration for.

As Disney+’s The Book of Boba Fett comes to a close, it’s a fitting time to stop and take a look back to our first introduction of the bounty hunter who began our love affair with the Mandalorians – The Empire Strikes Back*. And who better to be our guide than Hannes “Marshal Banana” Tscharner? Hannes has previously brought us amazing renditions of other Star Wars vehicles like the Millennium Falcon and the Jawa Sandcrawler. But this time, Hannes teamed up with builder Kevin J. Walter aka Skywalter with the goal of creating the most accurate Slave-1 model ever built in LEGO. Kevin is no stranger to IP spaceship builds himself, and has previously wowed us with his Stargate and Star Trek work. The Slave 1 took the pair a year and a half to complete. But, like any bounty hunter worth the price, they delivered on their goal with stunning results. So, without further ado, let’s take a tour of this Empire-era Firespray-31.

I can do this all day. Because I’m a robot.

As Disney continues to absorb every form of media, it will only be a matter of time before the House of Mouse releases a Star Wars/Marvel Comics crossover film. Not one to wait for the inevitable, builder Veynom has taken the first step with a pair of Battle Droids from the Star Wars universe that are truly Super Soldiers. There’s classic “Steve Roger Rogers” with a bright blue color scheme and vintage shield, and modern “Steve Roger Rogers” with an Avengers-era, dark-blue color scheme and shield from the 76168 Captain America Mech Armor. While the pun in the name here is just *chef’s kiss* perfect, I still want to see Veynom tackle the rest of the Avengers in a similar style. There were a lot of droids in the Clone Wars…I’m sure there are some other great matches out there. (At least give us a Super Battle Droid in green with purple pants.)

Mando’s Naboo hotrod has a lot of engine for a little ship

As The Book of Boba Fett continues to shell out the hits, it’s also managing to throw us all for a loop. Dank Farrik, has it been fun! Chapter 5 had plenty of LEGO fans excited for the Razor Crest’s replacement and it was exactly the inspiration that fellow TBB contributor Mansur Soeleman needed to bust out a quick ship. Not one to take all the credit, he’ll have you know that his version of the Mandalorian’s new N-1 Starfighter is “a severe de-modification” of his dear friend Tom Loftus’ original yellow and grey model, which the curious can find images of only on Brick Vault. It just happened to be sitting on his desk while he watched the episode so it was a natural process. While the bones are there, I’d say Mansur’s efforts moved this far from the original. After all, there are only so many ways to skin a Womp rat. Known by most as Lamborghiniwafflesauce, or Waffles, he’s somewhat of a Greeble King amongst the LEGO fan base. Employing these skills, he opened up the design to show off the interior of the two modded J-type engines, along with the additional rear engine added by Peli Motto.

This awesome Star Wars Millennium Falcon achieves a perfect marriage of size and function.

It might be impossible to do an official count, but I’d bet money that no vehicle from pop culture has been created in LEGO as many times as the Millennium Falcon. LEGO designers and fans alike have revisited Han Solo’s trusty spaceship over and over again in an unending quest to build the perfect rendition of the famous Y-T 1300f Light Freighter. But is perfection even possible? If it is, builder Khaled Youssef may have some as close as anyone with this massive build featuring a fully detailed interior. This new take on the Falcon walks the line between UCS and mainline build in way that should satisfy even the most discriminating fans.

Something wizard this way comes!

Following last week’s episode of The Mandalorian season 2.5—I mean The Book of Boba Fett, LEGO builders across the galaxy got their grey bricks out to recreate a certain starfighter. Builder Jonas Kramm took a different route and built a follow-up to his previous vignette from the series. In this small diorama, The Mandalorian is offered a new ship in Peli Motto’s garage. While he didn’t build the entire vehicle, Jonas focuses on the discovery of a partial ship hiding under tattered cloth. What starfighter could that be?

A new ship for Mando

Is it a Porax-38, a variant of which we saw in the “prison break” episode of The Mandalorian season 1? Or is it what we think it is? Jonas keeps the mystery and suspense alive by only building a dismantled engine hiding under a Silent Mary sail piece. Various clutter complete the diorama, such as grey and silver greebly pieces representing spaceship parts and two droids, one of which is a BD unit that people who have played Jedi: Fallen Order will recognise.

As The Book of Boba Fett is about to wrap up, we wonder what other scenes Jonas will build next.
