The LEGO Ideas theme has led to many popular shows finding new life in plastic bricks, from The Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld, Friends, and more. The sets let fans recreate their favorite moments and scenes, and actors of major blockbuster movies like Star Wars, Jurrasic Park, and the Marvel franchise are not the only celebrities who get to collect minifig versions of themselves. Well, fans of the hit American show based on the hit British show The Office can finally join in the fun with LEGO Ideas 21336: The Office, which includes 1,164 pieces and will be available on Oct 1, 2022 for US $119.99 | CAN $144.99 | UK £104.99

LEGO Ideas reveals 21336 The Office, now available for pre-order [News]

Folks, Pretzel Day has come early! This morning, LEGO debuted it’s latest Ideas set: 21336 The Office. Based on the US television show of the same name, the diorama features a whopping 15 minifigures! Almost all of the regular cast members are featured, as it looks like Andy may be off at anger management after punching a Technic hole in the wall. In these 1,164 pieces, we also get details from some of our favorite storylines: Meredith’s encounter with a bat, the teapot, “Lazy Scranton,” Kevin’s chili, and the iconic stapler in jello. Forget new chairs or a new copier, this is where the surplus should go! LEGO Ideas The Office is now available for pre-order in the US and Canada, with release on October 1st. It retails for US $119.99 | CAN $149.99 | UK £104.99

LEGO reveals 21333 Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh as next Ideas set [News]

After announcing it in February of last year as the next fan-designed set from their crowd-sourcing platform Ideas, LEGO is finally taking the wraps off the official set, letting us get our first look at 21333 Starry Night. The original project, depicting Vincent van Gogh’s famous 1889 painting of Saint-Rémy, France, was submitted by Hong Kong-based LEGO fan Truman Cheng (aka legotruman) back in July of 2020 before reaching the 10k votes threshold to be considered by LEGO just a month later. The final set contains 2,316 pieces and includes a framed version of the painting with sculptural elements to mimic the brush strokes, along with a minifigure of van Gogh and a miniature printed version of the painting on an easel. The set also represents a new licensing partnership between LEGO and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), which owns the artwork. The set will retail for US $159.99 | CAN $219.99 | UK £169.99 and will be available to LEGO VIP members starting May 25, with a general release on June 1.

LEGO Ideas 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone: The perfect set for a speed build [Review]

The LEGO Ideas line continued its rapid pace with the January 1st release of 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone. This US $69.99 | CAN $89.99 | UK £59.99 has 1125 pieces, spanning key locations from the first level of the SEGA classic game, two brick-built monsters, the Eggman and his Eggmobile, and an updated version of Sonic in minifigure form. LEGO Ideas 21332 The Globe features a fully 3D spinning earth globe [News]

LEGO Ideas is spinning up to release the next set from the crowd-sourcing platform, 21332 The Globe. Designed as a traditional earth globe, the newest set is based on the project submission from fan Guillaume Roussel, where it reached the requisite 10k votes on May 1, 2020, and was approved to become a set in September of that year. The official set has 2,585 pieces and will be available starting Feb. 1 for US $199.99 | CAN $269.99 | UK £TBD. The 10-inch globe follows last year’s release of 31203 World Map in bringing geography-related sets to LEGO fans and features glow-in-the-dark tiles for labelling the continents and oceans.

LEGO reveals Ideas 21331 – Sonic The Hedgehog Green Hill Zone [News]

LEGO has announced the latest set in the Ideas theme – and it’s a brick-built recreation of one of the most iconic video game levels ever – the Green Hills Zone from Sonic the Hedgehog. Conceived by Viv Grannell and packed with details and Easter eggs, the LEGO Ideas 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone comes with will 1125 pieces. It be available on the 1st of January 2022 for US $69.99 | CAN $89.99 | UK £59.99.

4,000-piece 21330 Home Alone House unveiled as biggest LEGO Ideas set ever [News]

Not a lot of movies from the early 1990s have stuck around as household names, but surely one of the oddest is that childhood classic from 1990, Home Alone. It has found its quirky, lovable place among our holiday favorites, and today, LEGO is revealing that the newest Ideas set is based on the film. 21330 Home Alone House features the quiet suburban McCallister house that Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) has rigged with all manner of booby traps for the would-be burglars. The LEGO set has a full interior thanks to its 3,957 pieces, making it the biggest product to date based on a fan design from the crowd-sourcing platform Ideas. The original Ideas project was created by fan Alex Storozhuk, whose Home Alone project reached the requisite 10k votes back in December of 2019, and was approved by LEGO to become a set in June of 2020. The new set will retail for US $249.99 | CAN $349.99 | UK £229.99 and will be available starting Nov. 1.

LEGO Ideas First 2021 review are in: three new products are coming [News]

Today, LEGO Ideas reveals the results of the most recent review. In case you missed it, the Review Board had to evaluate a whopping 57 projects, including ideas based on sitcoms, fairy tales, and even some unusual concepts.
