LEGO Star Wars 75319 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge – Mando gets his signet [Review]

LEGO continues to expand its range of sets based on the Disney+ TV series The Mandalorian, with several LEGO Star Wars Mandalorian sets launching this summer. Joining the previously announced sets, 75319 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge includes 258 pieces with three minifigures and will retail for US $29.99 | CAN $39.99 | UK £27.99 beginning September 1, with preorders available now.

LEGO Star Wars unveils 75219 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge from Season 1 [News]

This morning LEGO took the wraps off a new set based on the hit Disney+ show The Mandalorian via a reveal on StarWars.com. 75219 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge will feature the elusive Mandalorian smith and her workshop, along with Paz Vizsla and, of course, the Mandalorian. With 258 pieces, the set will retail for US $29.99 | CAN $39.99 | UK £27.99. It’s available to pre-order now and will be released on Sept. 1. We’ll be bringing you a hands-on review of this set very soon!

LEGO 40487 Ideas Sailboat Adventure will be available as a Gift with Purchase promotion in August [News]

The winning entry of a contest titled Build that holiday into that holiday! held on the LEGO ideas platform in May 2020 has been made into an official set – the LEGO 40487 Ideas Sailboat Adventure. This fan-selected entry will only be available as a Gift with Purchase (GWP) item in August with a purchase of $200 USD.

LEGO VIP members will have the opportunity to get an early opportunity to grab this it’s opened to members from the 1st to the 3rd of August 2021. Non-members will have access to it from the 04th of August till the 29th. The standard terms of availability only while stocks last are in the fine print as usual. LEGO VIP Membership is free and a good idea to sign up in advance before the promotion goes live.

The set is designed by YC_SOLO and made into a LEGO official set with design modifications as with any winning LEGO Ideas set released.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Marvel Studios Series revealed [News]

LEGO has just listed the Marvel Studios Series of Collectible Minifigures online. High-resolution pictures are available at LEGO Shop, revealing 12 super-heroes as seen in the latest Marvel TV series, WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and What If…? The minifigures will be available for purchase on October 1st.

LEGO Star Wars 75310 Duel on Mandalore features Ahsoka vs. Maul [Review]

LEGO’s summer 2021 wave of Star Wars sets has been taking us back to the Clone Wars and early Empire eras, with sets like 75314 Bad Batch Attack Shuttle from the new animated series and the set we’re reviewing today, 75310 Duel on Mandalore from the final season of The Clone Wars released on Disney+ last year. This set 147 pieces with two minifigs, and will hit stores on August 1st for US $19.99 | CAN $24.99 | UK £17.99.

LEGO clarifies the future of VIDIYO in a official statement [News]

Yesterday, a number of LEGO fan blogs reported the cancelation of the LEGO VIDIYO theme. To avoid a lack of understanding, the LEGO Group immediately shared an official statement regarding the future of its latest product lines. According to the statement, the new sets will see the light no earlier than 2023, with some new ideas and concepts to test in 2022.

LEGO Iconic 40493 Halloween Owl and 40497 Spider & Haunted House ornaments [Review]

Is it Halloween already? It feels like it around here, as we’ve had the opportunity to review LEGO Iconic (Seasonal) sets 40493 Halloween Owl and 40497 Spider & Haunted House, and they’re a bit of a mystery. Both will be available starting Aug. 1, the owl for US $14.99 | CAN $19.99 | UK £13.49 and the spider for US $9.99 | CAN $12.99 | UK £8.99.

Both sets were very simple to build and are rather fun to use as home decor. Let’s dive into the pumpkin patch and get into the review.

Leaving LEGO Masters S2: We sit down with the fourth team to leave [Feature]

The fifth episode of LEGO Masters Season 2 has aired. A new episode means another winning build and unfortunately, another team elimination. After each episode, we’ll be meeting these teams as they continue on their LEGO journey with the show behind them.

We sat down for a talk with the fourth team to leave this season along with our friends from Brickset, BZPower and True North Bricks. We chatted about engineering, building relationships, building on memories and the art of playing well.

LEGO DOTS 41932 Extra DOTS – Series 5: A glowing new assortment [Review]

It feels like it was just yesterday (Okay, it was March) when we took a look at the Extra DOTS series 4 packs. (It was so recent, in fact, that I copied this intro paragraph from that review.) But LEGO has gone rapid-release on us, and now there’s already a whole new set of unique printed tiles to collect and colored elements to stock up on. Packs of 41932 Extra DOTS – Series 5 are available now from the LEGO Shop Online for US $3.99 | CAN $4.99 | UK £3.99. We bought a few to see what this latest not-quite-blind-pack has to offer.
