LEGO teases the next Ideas set with a short video of a queue to the blacksmith [News]

Today, LEGO has shared a short funny video teasing the setting for its next Ideas set. A stop-motion animation puts us right in the middle of a long queue of knights with their weapons and armor bent and severely damaged in battles. Although the video doesn’t show the set itself, we already know that it’s all about the Medieval Blacksmith that should be announced very soon.

LEGO Harry Potter 76383 Hogwarts Moment: Potion Class is the second set in the mini-series of mid-sized buildable books depicting a classroom of Professor Snape. LEGO reveals new wave of Ninjago sets for 10th anniversary with TV tie-in [News]

LEGO is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the wildly popular Ninjago theme in 2021. They kicked off the year by including golden minifigures in some new Ninjago sets, such as 71736 Boulder Blaster, and then launched the biggest-ever Ninjago set, 71741 Ninjago City Gardens, which is available starting today. Now the company is revealing four more sets launching in March that will tie in with the new season 14 of the Ninjago TV show. The sets come with an all-new setting that appears to be influenced by Polynesian cultures, with the usual Ninjago twist of martial arts, magic, crazy characters, and dragons.

LEGO sets for Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon revealed [News]

Three LEGO sets for Disney’s upcoming animated film Raya and the Last Dragon have been revealed, thanks to retailer Learning Express Gifts. Raya was originally slated to premiere last November but has been bumped to March 5, when it will release simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+. The new LEGO sets are part of the Disney Princess lineup and feature minidolls rather than minifigures. The sets introduce a number of new elements for designs iconic to the movie, such as Raya’s conical straw hat and her pill bug-like companion Tuk Tuk, and of course, Sisu the dragon. There’s no word yet when the sets will be available for sale.

LEGO 71741 Ninjago City Gardens set is listed on LEGO Shop [News]

The upcoming exclusive LEGO set 71741 Ninjago City Gardens is now listed on the UK regional page of the LEGO Shop. The set will be available starting January 14 for members of LEGO’s free VIP loyalty program, and for everyone on February 1. The product will retail for US $299.99 | CAN $399.99 | UK £274.99.

It’s been less than a week since we took a first look at Ninjago City Gardens, and over the weekend the Bricks World LEGO Certified Store in Singapore published more official product images. LEGO DOTS 41921 Extra DOTS – Series 3 [Review]

Early 2021 saw the latest expansion to LEGO’s DOTS theme with new Series 3 sets. These kits are designed to appeal to kids who are interested in arts and crafts, but they’ve found a lot of love with adult builders, too. DOTS 41921 Extra DOTS – Series 3 packs are available now for US $3.99 | CAN $4.99 | UK £3.99.  Each bag contains a mix of 107 elements including new 3D tiles, a mix of quarter-circle and round 1×1 plate, and 10 printed tiles from a pool of 16 new designs. It’s that last bit that needs a bit of exploration. Just what are those new designs? And how tough is it to put together a full set of them? We went out and bought a few packs to find the answers. LEGO 75292 Razor Crest from The Mandalorian is back in stock on LEGO online store (US and CAN Only) [News]

The Razor Crest is now available for backorder on LEGO US and CAN online stores retailing at US $129.99 and CAN $159.99  respectively. In case you’re wondering what’s the big deal about this Star Wars vehicle,  the spoiler-free answer is the Razor Crest leaves a mind-blowing impression in the second season that makes it a little more sought after now for not only fans and likely LEGO investors.

If you’re unable to add it to your cart, it’s likely if you’re reading this a little later and they’re gone for now. The good news is, if you follow us on Facebook, we’ll make further announcements when it is available again.  Alternatively, you may do want to check availability on Amazon.

Botanical Boosters – Roses and Tulips join the LEGO flower arrangement [Review]

LEGO definitely has us looking forward to spring. Joining the 10280 Flower Bouquet are two new sets: 40460 Roses (US $12.99 | CAN $16.99 | UK £11.99) and 40461 Tulips (US $9.99 | CAN $12.99 | UK £8.99). First announced in December, they’re available now in the UK, and coming soon to North American LEGO stores. Are they pretty in person? How well do these new blooms complement the existing arrangement? And is there anything to these sets beyond just being a display piece? Read on and see!
