An adoring army of adventuring LEGO designers have donned their disguises to discuss the droves of delightful secrets hidden within the exhilarating new 10273 Haunted House.
In the video, they exude their love for the original Adventurers product line, show details from past LEGO sets that made it into Manor Von Barron, and make the free-fall ride nearly as tall as a person to see if it will still work.

Get ready to scream for LEGO’s newest Fairground Collection expansion set, Creator Expert 10273 Haunted House. The 3,231-piece set comes with a working free-fall ride and nine minifigures plus a skeleton. The spooky set will sell for US $249.99 | CAN $299.99 | UK £209.99 and will be available to LEGO VIP members beginning May 20th with general availability starting June 1st.
The haunted house fairground ride opens up to reveal an organ, stained glass windows, a spooky portrait backlit by a light brick, and other terrifying details. The mechanics of the free-fall ride can be seen in the spinning product photo below, including the chain, gears, and flywheels (depicted in trans orange, though they will be black in the set).

Close your eyes and imagine a LEGO set: iconic 1970s Dodge Charger R/T, packed with authentic details. The opening hood reveals a model version of the iconic V8 engine; moving pistons, wishbone suspension, steering system, and air blower. There are even nitro bottles in the trunk. Just like the real thing! Sounds fantastic, doesn’t it? According to LEGO, such an exciting set, in this instance, LEGO Technic 42111 Dom’s Dodge Charger, retails for just US $99.99 | CAN $139.99 | UK £89.99. Moreover, the model consists of just 1,077 pieces, which, by all means, isn’t a big Technic set. A medium-sized Dodge Charger in an authentic design for US $100 seems to be an absolute bestseller. But before you order one for yourself, let’s build it and make sure it is as good as we imaged it.

Last month LEGO revealed the next set in the Ultimate Collector Series would be 75275 A-wing Starfighter, making it available May 1 just in time for May the Fourth celebrations. Due to the current global pandemic, LEGO’s shipping department wasn’t able to get us an early copy, but we’ve finally got our hands on the set to bring you an in-depth review. It totally looks like the LEGO Ideas review committee will be swamped with work for the next several months. For the first time in the history of the LEGO Ideas platform, a smashing selection of twenty-six new projects enters the review stage. Among the most noticeable ideas are the well-know Tesla Cybertruck, an adorable vignette portraying the most mischievous goose of 2019, and even a Technic snow-groomer, which is the first LEGO Technic Ideas project to accumulate 10,000 votes. The selection also includes a bunch of projects based on movies and cartoons, as well as several models based on human-made spaceships. You can read the full announcement on the blog.
According to the LEGO Ideas program rules, a project must gain 10,000 votes to enter the review stage. With three qualifying periods each year, there are about 30 projects qualifying for the review stage each year, or roughly 10 projects per period. With 26 new projects qualified already, a new record of reviewed projects is to be set during 2020. Nevertheless, it does not guarantee that we will see more official LEGO Ideas sets than usual.

LEGO is kicking off Star Wars Day celebrations early ahead of May the Fourth by launching the 75275 A-wing Starfighter. In addition to the UCS A-wing becoming available, LEGO is offering 40407 Death Star II Battle as a free gift with Star Wars purchases more than US $75 | CAN $75 | UK £75 (available through May 4th or when supplies run out).
LEGO is also offering double VIP points on all Star Wars sets (like the new helmet series) and various deals on other Star Wars sets throughout the weekend. The new Star Wars sets join several other LEGO products that have recently become available including Wonder Woman vs. Cheetah and the buildable Minions (which both have 2x VIP points for the entire month of May).

Revealed by retailer Amazon Japan, we get a first look at The LEGO 75288 AT-AT that comes with the label of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode IV: The Empire Strikes Back. It’s been a while since an AT-AT was released at this scale with LEGO 75054 AT-AT back in 2014. It comes with 1,267 pieces, six minifigures and is scheduled to be released on Sept. 1st 2020 for US $159.99 | CAN $199.99 | UK £139.99.
Every year for the increasingly merchandised “May the Fourth” Star Wars holiday, LEGO has produced an exclusive item to include for free when you buy other Star Wars products. This year’s promotional set is 40407 Death Star II Battle, a microscale vignette from Return of the Jedi featuring an A-wing and TIE Interceptor skimming the battlestation’s surface. The set includes 235 pieces, and will be included with Star Wars purchases between May 1 and May 4 from LEGO’s website over US $75 | CAN $75 | UK £75. LEGO is also offering double VIP points on all Star Wars purchases over the same timeframe. LEGO lists the set for US $14.99 | CAN $19.99 | UK £13.49, but it isn’t available to purchase directly, and likely won’t ever be unless LEGO ends up with a lot of extras after the promotion ends.
LEGO has revealed six Harry Potter sets coming this summer, expanding the Wizarding World with new minifigures and scenes from multiple films. Hogwarts-based sets include the Astronomy Tower, the Room of Requirement (with new Patronus figures), and the Forbidden Forest: Umbridge’s Encounter (with new LEGO centaurs). The other three sets include Attack on The Burrow, 4 Privet Drive and a brick-built mechanical Hedwig.
These six new LEGO Harry Potter sets will become available on August 1st in the US and two months earlier in other select regions starting on June 1st (though LEGO will be offering pre-orders starting April 30th in some regions). In the US, the Burrow will be a Target exclusive and the brick-built Hedwig will be a Barnes and Noble exclusive–both likely to be available eventually from LEGO as well.

The newest LEGO DC Comics set 76157 Wonder Woman vs. Cheetah is now available from LEGO. The set comes with 371 pieces and includes three minifigures of Wonder Woman, Cheetah and Maxwell Lord. The set is currently available for US $39.99 | CAN $49.99 | UK £34.99 (with 2x VIP points for the month of May).
The Warner Bros. film Wonder Woman 1984 was originally slated for June 5th, though it has been delayed until August 14th because of the coronavirus. The Wonder Woman set is now available from LEGO along with the new Minions sets and Star Wars helmets.
