Today, the LEGO Group and Gameloft are celebrating the release of the long-awaited LEGO® Legacy: Heroes Unboxed mobile game. Unveiled in May 2019, the game is finally being released on three major platforms and available today in App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store.

They say the vast emptiness of space is entirely silent. It must be so in most parts of the universe, but definitely not anywhere near Sheo.‘s bizarre LEGO space police station. The sirens of such creepy police pods must sound totally far out. It doesn’t matter which world’s laws these guys enforce; you’d better slow down swooshing by this station.
If you feel a longing for vibrant colors, piece, and quite, try spending a day at Anthony Wilson‘s underwater lab. Built for fundamental marine research, this facility looks like a proper resort: huge windows, glass tunnels, and out-of-this-world species diversity right in front of you. I bet this place was engineered by those escaping anything happening above the water. It took me at least a couple of minutes to spot all the different fish captured in this build. I must admit, now I feel a lot calmer and happier.
Watching Star Wars it seems impossible not to sympathize with all the dummy droids. One of the reasons is their straightforwardness; they always speak what they process. Speaking about the Imperial K2SO from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, one of my favorite moments was his genuine question regarding a blaster in Jyn’s hand. Mirko Soppelsa builds a fantastic statuette, but still gives the droid no weapons.
Unlike many other similar works, Mirko’s droid features a very detailed area behind its head. Black, gray, and gold pieces go very well with each other. I totally believe there is the droid’s unique character hiding somewhere behind all those tubes and wires.
During the last week of January, LEGO Star Wars fans were busy choosing a model for one of the next Ultimate Collector Series LEGO Star Wars sets. Finally, the results of the fan vote are in, and the winner has just been announced on the LEGO Ideas blog. According to the results, the absolute winner is the Republic Gunship. The spaceship got more than 50% of the votes.
We have no idea what exactly the final product will look like. LEGO doesn’t share any details on when the set might be available, promising it will be one of the next Ultimate Collector Series LEGO Star Wars sets.

A quick Google search reveals that over the last decade the Brothers Brick team has featured at least a couple of brick-built wasps and dozens of impressive space hangars. But have we ever shared wasps inside a space hangar? Thanks to the latest sci-fi work by incredibly talented Sheo., now we have. We have no clue where these giant wasps came from and how they became a popular mean of interplanetary cargo transportation, but we are sure you can spot a ton of excellent building solutions in the picture below. The futuristic cargo crane is my favorite part of the build; just look at those adorable wheels!
In the wake of global automation, robots are replacing humans in many jobs in factories, offices, and even in space. However, there is at least one thing robots will never be able to replace — man’s best friends, dogs. But even dogs have to keep us with technology push, so Red designs a K-9 multi-purpose unit of the future. He wonderfully captures the dog’s shape using medium-sized Technic panels from Star Wars buildable figures, while a bold choice of pieces in silver is what makes the build special. You’d better think twice before patting this boy!
Confirmed today at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair 2020, the next LEGO Technic exclusive set will be a scaled copy of a Lamborghini supercar. The set will be the third in the LEGO Technic Ultimate Series of supercars following 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS and 42083 Bugatti Chiron. Just like the other two cars, the new Lamborghini will also come in massive 1:8 scale, but the price is up to 379 Euro, which makes it the second most expensive LEGO Technic set after 42100 Liebherr R 9800 Excavator.
The new LEGO Technic 42115 Lamborghini supercar is scheduled for exclusive release on June 1st and will be officially available in stores from August 1st. Piece count, regional prices and official pictures of the set are yet to come, so stay tuned!

Usually, when you accumulate a whole lot of red LEGO pieces in your collection, there are two things you would consider for your next building project: a Ferrari or a firetruck. Since Ilya Luashkin had also got huge off-road Technic tires, it was a no-brainer. This 1:13 scale copy of the MAZ-7313-AA60 airfield firetruck is the result of more than 400 hours of meticulous planning and building. Consisting of more than 9,000 pieces, the model is nearly 47 in (120 cm) long and weighs almost 20 lbs (9 kg).
The exterior of the truck might seem a little bit boring, but Ilya made sure to precisely copy all 22 doors and compartments that the real truck has. And it would not be a proper LEGO Technic build without a custom-designed chassis featuring fully independent suspension. Last year, British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton won his 6th world champion title. Although he has to win one more championship to equal Michael Schumacher’s achievement, his career statistics are remarkable, to say the least. Half of his success is, of course, his outstanding driving talent, but the other half is always the car. Noah_L pays tribute to incredible Mercedes-AMG F1 W10, which Lewis piloted during 2019 season. The scale of the model, which appears to be around 1:15, sets a whole bunch of designing challenges.
Formula 1 cars are known for their supersophisticated aerodynamic elements, which are always hard to build. But according to the builder’s comment, matching the livery was the most challenging part. Certain parts of the car’s body are colored in turquoise, which is the signature color of Mercedes’ sponsor, Petronas. Although more and more types of LEGO pieces appear in dark turquoise since 2018, the assortment is still pretty limited. However, Noah did a fantastic job recreating the livery as precisely as possible.

Some say that LEGO is only meant for kids and season 3 of Top Gear was the best one. All we know is LEGO and the BBC are bringing a very special LEGO Technic set, 42109 App-Controlled Top Gear Rally Car, and it is powered by a couple of new Powered Up motors. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the car can be controlled via an app installed on a smartphone or a tablet. Despite the smart elements under the bonnet, the model consists of just 463 pieces, which makes it one of the smallest LEGO remote-controlled cars ever released. The set comes with a price tag of US $129.99 | CAN $179.99 | UK £124.99 and is already available in stores.
