LEGO 75929 Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom [Review]

The full range of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom LEGO sets were released earlier this week, and we’re continuing our reviews of these new, dinosaur-centric sets, following on from 75928 Pteranodon Chase and 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase. Today, we’re taking a look at one of the sets with a brand new dinosaur, 75929 Carnotaurus Gyrosphere Escape. The set includes 577 pieces, three minifigs, a baby dinosaur, and the main attraction, Carnotaurus.

LEGO BrickHeadz 41610 Tactical Batman and Superman from Justice League [Review]

What could be better than one LEGO BrickHeadz character? Perhaps two BrickHeadz characters! So that Super Hero fans aren’t forced to make a hard choice between Batman and Superman, LEGO is offering a very nice-looking duo of the most famous DC heroes in a single box. The new LEGO BrickHeadz 41610 Tactical Batman and Superman is the latest addition to the DC Justice League sets line-up; now the two main protagonists are joining the rest of the team. The set consists of just 209 pieces and retails at $19.99 / € 19.99.

LEGO 75928 Pteranodon Chase from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom [Review]

When the original 2015 wave of Jurassic World sets retired, some people thought the theme wouldn’t return. But with the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie coming out in June, this popular line has been brought back to life. As The Brothers Brick has already reported, there will be 8 regular sets releasing next week. In addition, there will be related sets under the Brickheadz, Juniors, and Duplo themes. For this review we will focus on one of the smaller sets under the main theme: 75928 Pteranodon Chase. This set contains 126 pieces, including two minifigures and a Pteranodon dinosaur, and will retail for $19.99 USD.

LEGO Star Wars 75212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon from Solo: A Star Wars Story [Review]

The largest set in the first wave of LEGO Star Wars sets from Solo: A Star Wars Story is 75212 Kessel Run Millennium Falcon at 1,414 pieces for $169.99. The set depicts an earlier incarnation of Han Solo’s iconic freighter, long before he made extensive modifications and upgrades to it in the years leading up to its appearance in A New Hope.

LEGO Jurassic Park 25th anniversary set 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase [Review]

Despite what your 12-year-old neighbor thinks, movies about theme parks set in artificial dinosaur habitats didn’t start in 2015 with Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt. They started back in 1993 with the Steven Spielberg classic Jurassic Park, based on the Michael Crichton novel of the same name. And as part of this year’s wave of LEGO sets tying into the latest sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, LEGO isn’t missing the opportunity to celebrate Jurassic Park’s 25th anniversary by taking us back to Isla Nublar. 75932 Jurassic Park Velociraptor Chase includes 360 pieces, and is available beginning April 16 for $39.99 USD from the LEGO Shop Online.

LEGO Star Wars 75209 Han Solo’s Landspeeder from Solo: A Star Wars Story [Review]

The LEGO Star Wars sets from Solo: A Star Wars Story officially hit shelves on Friday, though we were able to bring you a couple early reviews with 75210 Moloch’s Landspeeder and 75207 Imperial Patrol Battle Pack. One of the smallest sets to include the titular hero is 75209 Han Solo’s Landspeeder, which retails for $29.99 in the US. The set includes 345 pieces and two minifigs.

LEGO Technic Hovercraft 42076 [Review]

I don’t know why, but I love hovercraft. They are to me like spaceships are to Benny. Are they boats? Or planes? Or something else? Regardless, I really wanted 42076 Technic Hovercraft to fill the Technic hovercraft-shaped void in my soul, an emptiness left unfulfilled by previous Technic Hovercraft (8824, 42002). The Hovercraft retails for $89.99 and includes 1,020 pieces.

LEGO giveaway 5005358 Minifigure Factory Set [Review]

The Minifigure Factory is a Gift-With-Purchase item that is quite unique in its own right and quite different from the regular promotional items — typically a build-and-display piece or a minifigure in a polybag. This set uses the box itself as part of the play construct. The theme is of a LEGO factory employee inspecting minifigures that roll off the assembly line, celebrating the 40th birthday of the first introduction of Minifigures. We recently got our hands on the latest addition to the LEGO sets from Incredibles 2, the LEGO BrickHeadz two-pack 41613 Mr. Incredible & Frozone. This set joins the LEGO Juniors sets 10759 Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit and 10760 Underminer Bank Heist, and features the head of the Incredible family, a.k.a Bob Parr, along with his best friend and long-time partner in clandestine superhero-ing: Frozone. The 41613 Mr. Incredible & Frozone two-pack set retails for $19.99 and includes 160 pieces.

LEGO Juniors 10760 Underminer Bank Heist from Disney/Pixar’s Incredibles 2 [Review]

Until our review of 10759 Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit yesterday, The Brothers Brick had not done a review on a LEGO Juniors set. But with the new Incredibles 2 movie coming out this June, there’s a small wave of sets being released in May that will not be featured in their own regular theme. Juniors sets also often include some pretty nice parts, so we thought this would be a good opportunity to share our reviews. In this article we’ll take a look at one of those sets: 10760 Underminer Bank Heist. This set retails for $24.99 USD, with 149 pieces, including three unique minifigs: Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible), Mr. Incredible, and Underminer.

LEGO BrickHeadz from Jurassic World – 41614 Owen & Blue [Review]

BrickHeadz are clearly here to stay, and no matter what your favorite film genre, there is a BrickHeadz character for that… or at least there will be someday. Now we can add the cloned dinosaur survival genre to that list with the recent announcement of 41614 Owen & Blue from the Jurassic World franchise. This set features our favorite velociraptor-whisperer, Owen Grady, along with Blue, the only surviving velociraptor from the recent installment of Jurassic World. The 41614 Owen & Blue two-pack set retails for $19.99 and includes 234 pieces.

LEGO 10759 Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit from Pixar’s Incredibles 2 [Review]

Until now, The Brothers Brick hasn’t done a review of a Juniors themed set. But LEGO’s small wave of tie-in sets for Disney Pixar’s new Incredibles 2 movie will only feature Juniors sets, and since we can’t help but cover LEGO’s official sets based on one of our favorite superhero universes, we decided to pick up them up and see what Juniors has in store. We’ll start with 10759 Elastigirl’s Rooftop Pursuit. This set retails for $19.99 USD, with 95 pieces, including two unique minifigs: Elastigirl (Mrs. Incredible) and Screenslaver, and is available from LEGO Shop at Home.

This review will be mostly spoiler-free, but we can’t guarantee the set doesn’t give anything away.
