This is what we’re all about. We scour the web for the best custom LEGO models to share with you. From castles and spaceships to planes, trains, and automobiles, you’ll find the best LEGO creations from builders all over the world right here on The Brothers Brick.

Lamborghini Murciélago

Here’s what Top Gear had to say about the Lamborghini Murciélago:

Makes your eyes bleed and your heart explode with joy. And that’s before you even drive it, at which point you will simply melt and cease to exist in any meaningful fashion.

Fortunately, my eyes aren’t bleeding after seeing this LEGO version by AT94, but the headlights do make my heart explode with joy.

Though we haven’t featured him here before, AT94 is a talented young builder and excellent photographer. Check out the street scene he’s been working on for a while:

Getting around London with Firas Abu-Jaber

Firas Abu-Jaber (Flickr) is perhaps best known for his larger-scale cars and trucks, but with this set of vehicles inspired by the buses and taxis you can still see on London streets, Firas shows that he’s a master of LEGO vehicles at any scale.

See more pictures of the Routemaster bus and London cab on MOCpages or Flickr.

Ken Takeuchi’s microscale Europa battleship has its own gravitational pull

As far as I can tell, Ken Takeuchi (blog) single-handedly invented the microscale space genre nearly 10 years ago. His latest proves that he’s still got it:

The battleship Europa is nearly a meter (3 feet) long, and the interior is braced with LEGO Technic beams.

Australian 86-wheel road train

British builder Ed Diment (who you may remember for his 22ft long model of the USS Intrepid) worked with TBB’s own Ralph Savelsberg – a master of Miniland scale brick-built vehicles – to create this awe-inspiring Australian road train. If you’ve ever done the great Australian road trip, you may have run into one of these behemoths bombing down the long lonely highways between the country’s major cities …and then wondered how on earth you were gonna safely overtake it!

Road trains down under usually come in double or triple trailer combinations, so I’m not sure on the legality of the douple-triple that Ed and Ralph have put together here! The way the green and yellow stripes on the cab continue along the tops of all the trailers adds a nice color accent to what might otherwise be an entirely monochromatic model. And check out this stowaway that the driver found hanging off the back of his rig:

UNSC AV-14 Hornet VTOL by Chuck Citrin

Chuck Citrin isn’t afraid to build LEGO creations inspired by Halo, mainly because he does it so well. Here’s his cargo and maintenance variant of the AV-14 Hornet:

Regardless of the inspiration, I’m always amazed by Chuck’s ability to fit minifigs inside his tiny little vehicles.

MisaQa kicks off her 2008 Advent Calendar

Those of you lucky enough to snag a 7979 Castle Advent Calendar have probably just started opening those little doors to discover your Christmas goodies. (You can also follow along on ReasonablyClever.com.)

One of my favorite holiday LEGO traditions, though, is the series of small creations posted each day in December (until Christmas Day) by Japanese builder MisaQa. This year, she’s focusing on “Mythical Creatures,” starting with the Wyvern:

Since it’s already December 2 in Japan, she’s also posted her second creature, a three-headed Cerberus:

Hot Rod “Jam Jam”

Flickr user Apple Pie presents his hot rod pickup called “Jam Jam,” featuring functional steering and opening doors and tailgate. There are many details to check out on this classy ride, all of which you can see in the gallery on MOCpages.

I’ve been busy

I’ve been quite a busy little bee lately and really getting back into building. There’s a few more new ones in my photostream (including some NoVVember fun) but I’ll blog my favourites from most recent.

Wombat VTOL

First is my “Wombat” VTOL which I’ve fairly blatantly ripped off Ryan Rubino and Keith Goldman. I had fun trying to gett a variety of different angles to give it a real ‘stealth’ look.

White Rabbit

Secondly we meet “White Rabbit”. A fairly straightfoward hot rod (or is it a rat rod?) with some fun SNOTwork to get the various subtle shapes.

Kuranda Rake

And I’ve finally finished (insofar as it’ll ever be finished) my long-worked-upon Kuranda Scenic Rail train. In attempting to take photos of the whole train I discovered the difficulties of taking good photos of big things.

It’s been good to be back.

Next stop: Everywhere!

Alan McMorran has been working on a LEGO TARDIS and the 10th Doctor (“Doctor Who?” you ask. Exactly…) for a while now, and this his latest version is definitely my favorite.

Note the venerable LEGO pieces Alan’s used in the TARDIS — perfect for an ancient device that’s seen many years and many miles.

Aliens UD-4L Cheyenne Utility Dropship by Havoc

The concept of a dropship has always fired my imagination — especially after seeing Aliens way back when. Havoc seems to share my fascination, as demonstrated by this fantastic rendition of the UD-4L Cheyenne Utility Dropship:

Naturally, the missile pods folder into the dropship’s fuselage:

While we’re at it, here’s Havoc’s Aliens APC. Though it’s not to the same scale as the dropship, it’s still awesome:

More than one way to skin an APC

Gears of War APC

One sure way of attracting my attention to your LEGO model is making it look bigger than it is. HAZEL-Fantasy (HAZEL-頑張ります!) has created a version of the Gears of War APC that’s well-crafted, detailed, beautifully curved and small. I’m quite blown away. It’s also nice to see a model of an APC that isn’t the (very cool) one from Aliens.

Woof.

Psst, everyone, remember why we’re here?  LEGO is awesome.  Check out this cute Boston Terrier by Mike “Count Blockula” Crowley:
