In his explorations of the subway system of Gotham City Brent Wolke (thwaak) has uncovered a secret world: a world of subway racers. These are the cutest set of LEGOy things I’ve seen in ages.

Brixe’s classic bikes cry for the open LEGO road
We’ve blogged our share of LEGO motorcycles over the years, but it’s always a pleasure to find someone new who contributes his or her own unique style to these two-wheeled death machines.
Brixe (Brixe63 on Flickr) builds in a medium scale somewhere between the minifig and Miniland scales we’ve seen more commonly.

Check out lots more angles on these bad beauties on either Brickshelf or Flickr.
Bike to the Future
Or perhaps from the future. Spook‘s new motorcycle certainly looks high-tech, that’s for sure. I love the windscreen, which is a difficult part to work with.
Gavrilo Princip has his day
Dan Siskind (Brickmania) depicts that fateful day in 1914 when a young man named Gavrilo Princip assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, plunging the world into the Great War.
Happy Valentine’s Day 2009!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! A few builders from MOCpages have created some nifty little charms for the occasion.

Thanks for keeping the fire burning, you guys rock!
Mark wishes us all a happy Valentine’s Day
While I may not be keen on Valentine’s Day as a holiday, I can’t fault Mark Neuman for the way he expresses his Valentine’s wishes. He’s built an adorable mecha/animal robot to offer up a cupcake. I love the expressiveness of the face he’s achieved, and the feet are just adorable. Since I’m 3000 miles away from Mark, I can’t eat the cupcake, so I wish it was made of LEGO too.
I like LEGO zombies
Well, not in the sense that I want them to eat my minifigs’ brains (well, perhaps some of them), but in the sense that zombies make pretty much anything cooler.
The guys from The Big Toy Hut have put together a batch of minifigs inspired by the zombie megafigs by Andrew Bell:
While we’re at it, here are a couple of really cool Joker minifigs from Dark Knight:
Gundam F-Type by Solus Maximus
I might’ve overlooked this great Mobile Suit Gundam mecha by Solus Maximus as “Not LEGO” if reader Curtis hadn’t sent us a link.

The Arvo Brothers boot a Citroën DS
That last post deserves an Arvo chaser.
Not only do the Brothers Arvo create a Citroën DS, they also add a funny little detail — a wheel clamp, or “boot” — that makes sure their gorgeous car can’t get away. Time to pay your parking tickets!

A hearty “Moo!” to reader kastlekid for the tip.
The Iron Guppy pacifies the unruly West
Victor Vitale takes steampunk into the Old West with this teeny tiny airship airboat piloted by a pair of U.S. cavalry soldiers.
Willys MB Jeep Ambulance
David Luna has outfitted his medics with a jeep modified to carry stretchers. I hadn’t ever seen one of these before, they really did exist!
He’s done an excellent job on this recreation. I’m really liking how he used the all-purpose BrickArms monopods on the stretcher racks.
Here is another picture, with stretchers in place:
