LEGO unveils yet another life-size sports car to add to their collection: Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. The model is made of more than 400,000 Technic pieces and weighs 2,200 kg. The model was created by 15 engineering and building specialists and took a total of 8,660 hours to develop and construct. To create it, 154 different types of LEGO Technic elements were used, and 20 of them were moulded just for this model.

LEGO has stepped up fan engagement and constantly looking for new ways to engage their customers with the astronomical success with the LEGO Ideas platform and many other programmes. Today we noticed a new feature showcased on LEGO Online Shop called Fan Moments. It appears as a gallery showcased between the product highlight and the product specifications page. Last week LEGO announced their first LEGO CON will take place on June 26. It will be streamed live on the LEGO website on June 26 at 5 PM (London), 12 PM (New York) and 9 AM (Los Angeles). The event lineup includes sharing of secrets from inside the LEGO Headquarters amongst other announcements and activities featuring familiar LEGO product themes.

Skybound Entertainment announced that they will be partnering with AMEET Publishing to start publishing LEGO comic books in 2022. AMEET has already published quite a number of LEGO books for children, including activity books, story books and journals, some of them with minifigures or parts for small builds. As for Skybound Entertainment, you might be familiar with their parent company, Image Comics, who are known for comics like the Walking Dead and Invincible, among other titles.
Skybound will be announcing the LEGO IPs they will use in the next few months.

With the release of the Everyone is Awesome set just in time for Pride Month, inclusion and diversity has become the spotlight everywhere, including at The LEGO Group. The company today has published a series of interviews with employees and fans, talking about how LEGO brings people together as well as inspiring creativity. The interviews are with the members of LGBTQIA+ community, including one of TBB’s own writers, Bre. The interviews focus on what being in an AFOL LGBTQIA+ community means to them, what companies can do to support the community, how they use creativity to express themselves, and what Pride Month means to them.
LEGO just revealed two Star Wars sets featuring scenes from The Clone Wars animated series. The sets will be available on August 1st 2021. The larger set features a Mandalorian Starfighter while the smaller scene features a throne room duel between Ahsoka and Darth Maul.

The summer wave of LEGO sets are turning out to be a big hit, including this round of Creator 3-in-1’s. So far we’ve covered two others in the series, and now we turn our attention to the most colorful of the bunch, LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31122 Fish Tank. The set contains 352 pieces and features not only instructions to build a fish tank, but also those for an art easel with macaw painting and a treasure chest with accessories. It was just launched on June 1st in Europe and will be available August 1st in North America priced at US $29.99 | CAN $39.99 | UK £24.99. Thanks to Amazon, we’re getting a look at the first set based on Marvel’s upcoming alternate-universe animated show What If…? that’s set to air on Disney+ starting in August. 76194 Tony Stark’s Sakaarin Iron Man features a strange version of what appears to be the Hulkbuster armor cobbled together from Sakaarian scrap. Sakaar is the junk planet that Thor, Loki, and Hulk were stranded on in Thor: Ragnarok. The 369-piece set includes Valkyrie and The Watcher, along with Tony Stark sporting an alternate-universe Metallica shirt with an easter-egg throwback for fans of classic LEGO themes such as Exploriens. There’s no word yet on the specific release date or price.
LEGO’s new Bird of Paradise set, designed by Chris McVeigh (also known as powerpig) is part of LEGO’s Botanical Collection subtheme. When compared to the other two sets in this theme, Flower Bouquet and Bonsai Tree, Bird of Paradise is the largest with 1,173 pieces and retails for US $99.99 | CAN $139.99 | UK £89.99.
Three new Monkie Kid sets, which will be released on July 1, are listed on LEGO.com. From the smallest to the biggest, the sets are Sandy’s Power Loader Mech (80025), Pigsy’s Noodle Tank (80026), and The Bone Demon (80028), a terrifyingly huge undead creature that glows in the dark and tips the scales at 1,375 pieces.

Recently LEGO revealed the latest wave of Creator 3-in-1 sets. Right from the get-go this series looks to be pretty awesome, and now it’s time to see if they live up to the pictures! Per tradition, the line is showcasing at least one animal-focused kit, LEGO Creator 3-in-1 31121 Crocodile. The set contains 454 pieces and features not only instructions to build a crocodile, but also those for a snake or frog as well.
