LEGO unveils the new Expert vehicle set: 10290 Pickup Truck [News]

Today LEGO unveils the new addition to the LEGO Expert cars, 10290 Pickup Truck. The new truck is a 1677-piece set, which makes it a bit bigger than the previous 10295 Porsche 911 Turbo. However, the new set comes with the price of US $129.99 | CAN $169.99, which is $20 less in the US than the Porsche. The pickup truck has functional steering, a detailed interior, and a bunch of accessories for a perfect display. The set is currently available for pre-order and will ship in October.

LEGO sets available for July 2021 include the Ideas Typewriter and Adidas sneaker [Sales]

There are a few new sets available for the wider release in July. These include the amazing LEGO Ideas Typewriter and the largest set in the new lineup from Monkie Kid – The Bone Demon and the Adidas Sneaker kit. We have reviewed some of these so remember to check them out if you’re still on the fence on any of the purchases to be made.

LEGO 42126 Technic Ford F-150 Raptor unveiled [News]

We get an early look at a set from the new wave of Technic sets for the second half of 2021 with a Ford collaboration. The  42126 Techni Ford F-150 Raptor is listed on Walmart and retailing for USD 99 with 1379 Pieces. There is no indication of when the set will be available for order.

First round of Bricklink Designer Program crowdfunding begins on July 1st 2021 [News]

The chance to pre-order and get the project of your choice in the Bricklink Designer Program, formerly known as the AFOL Designer Program, starts tomorrow on 1st July 8:00 am Pacific / 5:00pm CET. There are 7 projects to choose from in the first round of crowdfunding. Fans can pre-order their favorite project (or projects) between July 1st and August 10th, 2021.

Slave I from the Star Wars galaxy is now known as Boba Fett’s Starship [News]

The latest wave of Star Wars LEGO unveiled sets featuring characters and vehicles from Star Wars: The Mandalorian TV series. The box art of the popular Star Wars Slave I (Slave One) vehicle belonging to the bounty hunter Boba Fett has now been officially renamed Boba Fett’s Starship. This is according to an interview conducted by Brickset and Jedinews with LEGO designers Jens Kronvold Frederiksen and Michael Lee Stockwell.

3 new LEGO Star Wars sets from The Mandalorian for summer 2021 unveiled [News]

Today LEGO unveiled three new Star Wars sets. The sets feature characters and vehicles from the popular Disney+ series The Mandalorian. All three sets will be available to purchase globally on August 1. There were also two more LEGO Star Wars sets from The Clone Wars revealed at the beginning of June based on the animated series.

LEGO Ideas ‘We Love Sports!’ winner unveiled at LEGO CON 2021 [News]

LEGO Ideas announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas We Love Sports! building contest during the LEGO CON 2021 today. The Foosball Table by Donát Fehérvári will become the next LEGO Ideas set and will be released sometime in future. The contest was held between December 2020 and February 2021 and gathered more than 800 entries.

LEGO Store on 5th Avenue New York City offers a brand-new feature: Brick Lab [News]

On June 24 2021, LEGO opened a new flagship store on 5th Avenue New York City. With 7,175 square feet (about 660 square meters) over two floors, the store offers a brand-new feature called Brick Lab, which turns physical LEGO builds into digital ones to become part of the interactive story. The experience is 20 minutes long, and fills the walls, floors and ceilings with animated interactive content which then the visitors can play in, using both physical and virtual builds. The LEGO Group aims to have this feature in 100 other flagship stores in the coming year.

LEGO Star Wars 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle [Review]

During the final season of The Clone Wars that aired on Disney+ last year, one episode featured Clone Force 99, also known as the “Bad Batch.” Through that backdoor pilot, this group of misfit clone troopers got their own Disney+ series, with inevitable LEGO Star Wars tie-ins. The first (and so far only) LEGO set based on the TV show is 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle, which includes 969 pieces with five minifigures for US $99.99 | CAN $139.99 | UK £89.99. The set is available for pre-order now, and will be released on August 1st.

LEGO prototype brick made from recycled plastic is a leap towards sustainable goals [News]

Today LEGO announced a new type of brick: One made from recycled plastic. It has been made out of discarded PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottles, and it’s a product of three years’ work from over 150 materials scientists and engineers, resulting in more than 250 variations.
