Legohaulic’s Delorean goes Brick to the Future at 88 miles per hour

Tyler Clites (Legohaulic) says he’s been having “loads of fun” with his LEGO Power Functions motors and remote control.

Most recently, he added a motor to his LEGO Delorean. Naturally, the Delorean can zoom around Tyler’s kitchen floor.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX by Lego Monster

LEGO Spitfire

We generally don’t blog two planes by the same builder two days apart, but this Spitfire by Ed Diment (Lego Monster) is too gorgeous to pass up.

The plane has a three-stud-wide fuselage, great camouflage, and a beautiful profile.

Chk’ chk’ Boom

Dr. X shows us how zombie-apoc is done with these excellent vehicles. They look like contemporary vehicles, but with stuff tacked on. That is good.

This is not the future my mother warned me about – Terminator Salvation minifigs

It’s been a very long time since going to see a movie inspired me to build a bunch of minifigs as soon as I got home. I saw Terminator Salvation on Saturday night, and had to build the heroes and their antagonists.

The human Resistance wouldn’t be the same without a couple of T-600 Terminators to fight.

LEGO Terminator mecha by Nickre

Though I won’t see it until tomorrow night myself, the new Terminator: Salvation movie looks full of cool mecha, hoverships, and post-apocalyptic landscapes sure to serve as inspiration among LEGO builders.

Nick (Nickre) uses his own imagination, though, to come up with this cool mecha from the Terminator universe:

That buzz saw slung under the body looks lethal…

Space marine light assault vehicle and instructions

Tyler Clites has built the space marine light assault vehicles (SMLAV) inspired by the Warthog from Halo. By popular demand, Tyler created a set of quality instructions available for purchase at a very reasonable price of $5. Having built the SMLAV from his instructions, I can say that parts for the model are easy to acquire and the model itself is very solid.

Check out these fun variations of the SMLAV and military variants.

Rod has a blue cat

Steampunk master, Rod Gillies, just posted a very sleek airship, which he has christened The Blue Cat. I really like that hull design…

Halo Turtle transport

What happens when you combine a Warthog from Halo with arctic sno-cats? Why, this “Turtle” transport by Kurt (Lemon_Boy), of course!

The four tracks in place of the tires and the gun are especially cool.

Pirate steampunk airship Hermes

According to Daniel Garcia (Evo), the airship Hermes was the first to be built by the Royal Navy, but was promptly stolen by pirates.

Most steampunk airships look like, well, flying ships, but Daniel’s ship has an unusual shape like an enormous flying catamaran.

Ford Shelby Cobra concept car

Speaking of minifig-scale vehicles, Sterling Knight built this LEGO version of the Shelby Cobra concept car from Ford.

The intake on the hood and the grill on the front include some interesting techniques, and the interior is also fully detailed.

Pugsly made me blog this

This black pug by Raphael is, after all, rather adorable.

Mini UNSC Pelican dropship and Warthog

LEGO UNSC Pelican dropship and Warthog

Alex Schranz (Orion Pax) discovered that sand green is harder to come by than he expected while building this mini-scale version of the Pelican dropship from Halo, complete with an itty-bitty Warthog that fits underneath.
