A mysterious warrior takes a moment to reflect

This mystical scene comes from the creative mind of W. Navarre. In the build, we see the silhouette of a figure perched on a rooftop, with the roof tiles cleverly portrayed through the use of ball joint plates. The warrior is overshadowed by a bright moon, which has a great variation of textured pieces representing the rocky surface. Waves crash against the house surrounded by a bamboo forest, featuring the use of tan Technic pins as bamboo stalks. The odd angle of the house mixed with the mystical aesthetic makes this one unique display.

This jester will keep the royal court entertained

Markus Rollbühler has created this impressive build of a juggling jester. The use of vibrant pink and purple in the colour scheme has made this one eye-catching model. The entertainer has some great details such as the frilly sections of the costume which are cleverly represented by skirt pieces at the upper shoulders. Torches, fruits, and even a knife have been slotted onto a flexible tube piece, used to portray the items in mid-air. It appears the jester might be planning to add more to the mix as some apples and a glass jar are suspiciously placed on the table below him.

Join the fight for the republic with this miniature walker from Star Wars

Tim Goddard has built this microscale model of an AT-TE vehicle from Star Wars. This walker sports the colours and logo of the 501st battalion, famed for being under the commander of Anakin Skywalker in the films. Turret cannons at the front and back use wands, from the Harry Potter theme, to represent thin gun barrels. Running alongside the walker is an AT-RT, which has the surprising detail of a screwdriver portraying its blaster cannon. The model also has some great shaping with strong sharp angles, created by the application of triangular tiles.

Beautiful mosaic patterns feature in this grand hall

Andreas Lenander has designed this fantastic looking great hall. Light trickles in through the windows, surrounded by intricate stonework frames. Tall pillars are placed close to the main walkway with extended connector pieces assisting in adding to their height. A grand window overlooks the king who greets an approaching visitor while the guards stand ever watchful. Cast your eyes down to the floor and you can see complex mosaic patterns created by wedge pieces. The outer squares along the path also have some great details with arched pieces creating elegant curves in the patterns.

As Andreas says in the video, you wouldn’t want to tip this model upside down, otherwise those wedge pieces will be going everywhere.

This Gundam Wing mech is ready to lead the charge into battle

LEGO builder Andrej Ramires has built the Tallgeese based on one of the versions shown in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz. Andrej has perfectly captured the look of the original mobile suit, from the rounded shapes of the armor to the smaller details such as the beam sabers hidden on the underside of the shield. The mech has a similar aesthetic to that of a centurion, with the red head tail and circular shield. The large gun has some nice details, including the use of a lamp piece portraying the tip of the gun. Those boosters on the back allow the Tallgeese to travel at high speeds and charge through its opponents with the powerful lance.

Beware the blade of this Cyberpunk biker

MySnailEatsPizza has created this unique sword-wielding biker. The build is perfectly suited to a cyberpunk environment with the use of clear parts representing neon lighting. There is also a great selection of unusual parts used, such as the wheels which are containers from the X-Pod theme. The tube, forming part of the mohawk, appears to be a flexible cable that was present in various Exo-Force sets.

The odd-looking helmet is actually a classic mask of Takanuva from Bionicle, placed sideways. A subtle feature of the bike is the seat, where the torso of the buildable Jyn Erso figure is used.

Prickly pine cones of winter

Even the most experienced squirrel would struggle to break into these pine cones! Skillfully created by Amado Canlas Pinlac, the three pine cones have realistic shapes with a sprinkling of snow upon them. Claw pieces are heavily featured in the builds and portray the segmented sections of the pine cones. Surprisingly, ice-cream parts have been used to represent the pointed tips, which provides the models with an organic look to them. These pine cones could easily be used as Christmas ornaments and would fit in comfortably with other decorations hanging from a tree.

Get cosy with this comfy winter cottage

Daniel Cloward has constructed this charming winter scene featuring a cottage on a snow-covered hill. This LEGO build has an organic feeling about it, created through the curves in the rounded hill and the sloping angles of the cottage. The use of light purple on the roof is unusual but effective, as it blends in with the background sky. Claws form the leaves of the trees with the white pieces portraying snow steadily dripping off the leaves. It’s probably best to get inside quick and snuggle down by the fire, with a cup of hot chocolate at hand.

Will you find this magnificent insectoid creeping around in your garden?

LEGO builder Djokson has constructed this model of a striking white insectoid. The creature has a spindly frame, with thin arms and legs, however there is a sense of a threatening aura in those gleaming red eyes. The magnificent crown of horns on its head implies that this creature is the leader of a hive and even looks as though it could have potential for being a type of Pokémon, I’d want one on my team! One of the most interesting techniques used is the application of handcuffs to create the chest as they are stacked up and placed on horn pieces.

Try not to get crushed by this massive Gundam mech!

I’ve been following the progress of this build as it has slowly came together over the past few weeks, so it is very exciting to share the completed work with you all. Moko has built one of his largest and most expensive looking models to date, the build being based on the RMS-108 MARASAI from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. There’s so much to look at, even smaller details become interesting, such as the inner panels of the arm shield and the wide design of the head. Just making sure that this model can support its own weight must have been half of the challenge of constructing this goliath.

Nature can be beautiful but also scary

Based on shelled animals such as mollusks, Martin Vala has created this complex build. The model has a carefully structured shell that twists around, forming swirling patterns. Ball joints and sockets have been used to portray this formation with smooth angled pieces representing the rounded parts of the shell.

The top-down view lets you really appreciate the shaping of the model. The shadowy tentacles at the front make it all the more terrifying as they splay out in various directions with a small, haunting mouth at the centre. Hopefully, this creature’s personality doesn’t match its appearance.

Thomas the Tank Engine cheerfully chugs along

The popular steam engine has been brought to life in this clever build. However, many find Thomas the Tank Engine creepy, possibly due to his strange humanoid face. I’m sure we can all still appreciate the interesting techniques employed by Vakaisme in this model. At the front, the bumpers are represented by cap pieces and moving to the face, sausage pieces portray Thomas’ eyebrows. Tires have been used as segments of the steam chimney. The “1” symbol is cleverly wedged into place through placing bricks sideways. The playful build is instantly recognisable with its bright colours and accurate portrayal.
