LEGO reveals 10276 Colosseum; ancient Roman stadium will be biggest LEGO set ever [News]
Today, the LEGO Group redefines the idea of a truly massive building set once again. The new 10276 Colosseum is a huge copy of the ancient Roman stadium consisting of whopping 9,036 pieces. The previous record of 7,541 pieces set by Star Wars 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon was not that long ago thought to be an unbreakable achievement, but now it is about to go down. Despite being almost 1,500 pieces bigger than the Kessel runner, the Colosseum will retail for US $549.99 | CAN $649.99 | UK £449.99; in the US, this is $250 less than the original 75192 Millennium Falcon price tag. The set will be available starting November 27.

LEGO reveals new Chinese New Year, Monkie Kid and DUPLO sets inspired by the Chinese culture [News]
Four new sets were announced today by LEGO at the 3rd China International Import Exhibition. Two of the new sets belong to the Chinese New Year theme, another one is the new Monkie Kid product, while the last one is a DUPLO set. According to the press release, all the new products were inspired by and celebrate classic Chinese culture and legends. Prices, piece count, and availability are yet to be announced.
80107 Spring Lantern Festival
80107 Spring Lantern Festival recreates the magical atmosphere of the festival which marks the end of the lunar new year celebrations. It features a brick-built Chinese garden with moon gates, pavilion, pond and bridge, a special ox lantern illuminated by a LEGO light brick as well as other must-have items during the festival like a rabbit lantern and a Tang Yuan rice ball.

LEGO 77905 Marvel Black Widow Taskmaster’s Ambush now available on LEGO Online Store (US Only) [News]
The planned Marvel Black Widow San Diego Comic-Con-exclusive that was previously listed on Amazon (US) is now listed on LEGO Online store in the US only. These are expected to move very quickly with the exclusivity of the release.

LEGO reveals 10274 Ghostbusters ECTO-1, a 2,300-piece UCS-style car [News]
After some long delays, the highly anticipated Ghostbusters: Afterlife is slated be launched in 2021. In the meantime, the LEGO Group has announced the largest and most detailed LEGO recreation of one of the most iconic cars from the silver screen, the ECTO-1. This version is based on the new movie but shares a lot of overlap with previous on-screen versions. The LEGO Ghostbusters 10274 ECTO-1 contains 2,352 pieces and measures over 8” (22.5cm) high, 18” (47cm) long and 6” (16.5cm) wide. The set will be available from November 15, and will retail for US $199.99 | CAN $259.99 | UK £179.99.

LEGO Ghostbusters 10274 ECTO-1: Everybody can relax, I found the car. [Review]
The pandemic has had a pretty grim impact on cinematic release schedules this year. Ghostbusters: Afterlife was originally slated for a July 10th release, but is currently delayed to June 11, 2021. That left a lot of fans pretty unhappy…but LEGO has found a way to keep us busy while we wait for things to return to a new normal. Arguably the most beloved converted 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance of all time, the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 will be available directly via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores starting November 15th. The highly anticipated second season of The Mandalorian launches today on Disney+, so now seems as good a time as any to take a closer look at the Razor Crest, which was finally released on August 31st after selling out almost immediately nearly six months earlier via preorders. The set is now back in stock online (US $129.99 | CAN $159.99 | UK £119.99), built from 1,023 pieces and featuring the Mandalorian himself, Greef Karga, IG-11, a Scout Trooper, and the Child.

LEGO Marvel Avengers Taskmaster’s Ambush 77905 exclusive available at Amazon [News]
LEGO Marvel Avengers Taskmaster’s Ambush 77905 Exclusive Black Widow Movie Building Kit, previously rumored to be the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive for 2020, is currently available at Amazon in the US, although we’re hearing it’s already sold out in other countries. Get ’em while they’re hot!
Update: It appears to be out of stock at the moment, but we’ve seen it come in and out of stock a few times today, so it’s worth keeping an eye on it if you haven’t gotten one yet.

LEGO partners with Unity for LEGO Microgame, a platform for designing your own game with virtual bricks [News]
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, LEGO Games is partnering with Unity, the world’s leading 3D content development platform, to bring us a new videogame known as LEGO Microgame. Unity offers guided experiences designed to make game development less intimidating for new users, and starting October 26, you will be able to build your very own LEGO game, brick by virtual brick.
LEGO touts the new Microgame as being created with adult fans of LEGO in mind. It is targeted at people who are taking their first steps into the world of videogame creation and the company says it is designed to make this a fun and welcoming experience. You can even import your own creations built in Bricklink Studio as well as share the games you design on the Unity platform. At the time of writing, there’s not a huge amount we know about the gameplay itself yet, but you can check out a trailer for the game and read the official press release below.
