This is what we’re all about. We scour the web for the best custom LEGO models to share with you. From castles and spaceships to planes, trains, and automobiles, you’ll find the best LEGO creations from builders all over the world right here on The Brothers Brick.

Clowns are the Stuff of Nightmares

Ezra B. has shared this nightmare, and now I pass it along. Sleep well tonight…

TARDIS Console Room from Doctor Who

I’ve seen many brick renders of the TARDIS from Doctor Who, but I’ve never seen the interior built with Lego until Mr. Xenomurphy presented his latest creation. You don’t have to be a fan of the TV show to appreciate the striking architectural design with its intricate details and working lights. Check out the gallery on MOCpages for more photos including construction shots.

Got Gundam?

GUNDAM_O_N_K_E_Y! MSA-0011

I’m going to go for a negative/positive post today and begin with the caveat that I find those 80s, over the top, bits sticking everywhere, insane Gundam’s quite ridiculous. But when you build a LEGO model and it looks as good as Aaron Williams’ (m_o_n_k_e_y) it stops being ridiculous and starts being sublime.

Spitfire Mk IX

This plane is just gorgeous. Ed Diment (Lego Monster) states that it’s a 1 in 20th scale, and he plans to add more. I can’t wait.

Théo shows off his curves

This little artillery platform by Théo (Titolian) is simple but looks lovely. I quite enjoy the curved cross-section, as well as those incorporated into the front. The part use for the back of the missile pod (a fire truck basket, if I’m not mistaken), is also quite nice.

Heaps of good LEGO stuff

Has it been international LEGO building weekend or something? I’ve got a whole stack of new and great models popping up in my flickr stream today and I’m not really sure why. So you get a roundup post of Aurore&Aube, Soren Roberts, Anthony Sava, Pete Reid and zachmoe.

Stormtrooper down

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll let this one by Shobrick speak for itself.

Militarized X-wing

Zane Houston shows us what the X-wing might look like if it were a modern military craft. It features folding wings and landing gear. The builder states that there’s more militarized Star Wars ships in the making. Will we see a TIE fighter soon?

Alex Eylar gives Oscar-nominated 2010 movies the LEGO treatment

It’s always wonderful to see a fellow LEGO builder get well-deserved exposure from the non-LEGO world. With the Academy Award nominees just announced, Alex Eylar‘s awesome LEGO versions of the Best Actor/Actress and Best Picture nominees are popping all over the place, from The Daily Telegraph to the front page of Yahoo!.

I’m surprised to see any sci-fi movie nominated, and I love Alex’s rendition of Inception, which we highlighted in our interview with him back in August.

Inception

James Franco’s character cuts off his own arm in 127 Hours.

And The Nominees Are

Colin Firth gets nervous in front of crowds in The King’s Speech.

See all ten of Alex’s LEGO movie scenes in his Flickr photostream, and do check out the gallery on Telegraph.co.uk as well, which has a couple photos of Alex at his LEGO table, talking about his building and photography process.

Nathaniel Shields’s Halo grunt

We’ve featured two Lego Halo grunts in the past, but this one by Nathaniel Shields is perhaps the most accurate. The builder makes great use of Bionicle parts as well as a few System bricks for intricate small details.

Bad to the Bone

The new Ningjago line isn’t the only place to find cool LEGO skeletons and choppers. Check out this new creation by Karf Oohlu.

For me, the little road scene is as notable as the motorcycle itself. The irregular shape lends a sense of being torn straight out of a larger scene. The hair choice for the rider also adds a sense of fire, reminding me of Ghost Rider.
