This deceptively simple pile o’ figs is clearly a recreation of the Jerusalem scene from World War Z. But builder LEGO Will actually meant it as comment on shopping mania around the new Star Wars merch. However, I think it may become relevant again next week as LEGO fans clamor to pick up their WALL-E and Dimensions sets!

We’re starting to see a lot more LEGO Star Wars creations as we ramp up toward the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens LEGO sets — or maybe as I get excited myself, I’m just noticing them more. Either way, this little Miniland scene by Matt De Lanoy had me laughing uproariously. I realize it’s not a new joke, but Matt’s LEGO build is very well executed, with instantly recognizable characters, innovative parts usage (more on that below), and very cool lighting.
Matt built this as part of the current Iron Builder challenge, with the barbell accessory piece as the seed part. Expect to see a lot of posts over the coming days featuring this piece…
This hilarious series of vignettes was created by Swedish character-building duo Rickard & Helen – aka SuckMyBrick. They document a unique approach to curing Zombieism called the “Van Heckling” approach, whereby zombies are rehabilitated by simply encouraging them to engaged in everyday activities! What could possibly go wrong… Let’s take a look, shall we?

For its Season 4 bout between the Greek god Zeus and the Norse god Thor, the hugely popular YouTube channel Epic Rap Battles of History turned to Forrest Whaley and his team of stop-motion animators to give it the LEGO treatment. Every new Apple product has it’s (well publicized) teething problems. While my older iPhone has remained un-bent, no matter how many times I put it in my industrial jaw vice, it still to this day enjoys sending me either 1 mile North or South of my intended destination. It’s been fun to see folks getting a lot of use out of the new eyeball pieces from the very popular Mixels sets. But legendary Japanese builder Moko has just taken us into a whole new realm with this build, which is literally a piece of crap!
Hopefully this isn’t Moko’s commentary on the Mixels theme, as I think it would make a swell additional to the forthcoming Brown Fang Gang range of Mixels sets. Maybe the next image will put things in context…
…or maybe not. Why is the poo angry? Why does it have a tongue? Is this what can happen if I don’t get enough fiber in my diet? Unfortunately Moko’s usually very detailed blog does not yield any clues, just a bunch of potty humor. I thoroughly approve!
Flickr user Hippotam created this hilarious little scene for a contest, the purpose of which was to depict the same scene occurring in both 1963 and 2063. The only thing I am confused about is whether that little green critter on the floor in 2063 is a pet, or the result of the affair?!
