LEGO has just revealed the new Star Wars set on their social feeds. 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle featuring five minifigures and three vehicles is already available for pre-order today for US $99.99 | CAN $139.99. As for our readers from the UK, the set is listed online for UK £89.99 but isn’t available for pre-order right now.
Minions 2: The Rise Of Gru, the sequel to the 2015 film Minions, and the fifth film in the Despicable Me franchise was originally scheduled to premiere on July 3rd, 2020. But like so many other movie and video game releases in recent years, it has been delayed, and delayed again. Now slated for July 2022. So while you may be bummed to have to wait another 15 months to see the movie, you can still get a fix of sorts with these two additions to the LEGO BrickHeadz line. The latest review qualification round for the LEGO Ideas set a new record at a whopping 57 submissions. These creations have reached the 10,000 supporter milestone and therefore qualify for the First 2021 Review. 
More Creator 3-in-1 sets revealed thanks to retailers JB Spielwaren and Brickshop EU. Together with yesterday’s reveal of the Creator 3-in-1 Great Knight’s Castle, we now have a Space Shuttle Adventure, a Ferris Wheel, a Fish Tank and a Crocodile to add to the lineup to add to the Summer 2021 wave of sets that will be available come June 2021.

Let’s start things out right with a few floral puns, shall we? LEGO has been branching out into new themes lately. Introduced in late 2020, the Botanical Collection has already taken root with amazing sets like the 10280 Flower Bouquet and the 10281 Bonsai Tree. It was a pretty safe bet that we’d see more growth in this area, and now we know what it is! LEGO has uploaded images of two new Disney BrickHeadz sets, 40477 Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey & Louie, and 40476 Daisy Duck. The new sets will be part of the ongoing Mickey Mouse & Friends subtheme, following last year’s BrickHeadz of Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. There’s no word yet on the details such as release day, part count, or pricing, though it’s likely the standalone Daisy Duck will retail for $9.99, while the Scrooge & nephews set will be $19.99. Many sets are slated for a June 1 release, so it’s likely these will be among them.
German retailer JB Spielwaren reveals six new sets featuring 9 new vehicles to be added to the Speed Champions lineup for 2021. The new sets are expected to be released on June 1st 2021.

We have already had BrickHeadz of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid all at the standard size, but LEGO has decided that we didn’t have enough Harry Potter. So they came out with this new version of Hagrid with the three most famous first years in Hogwarts’ recent history. What might not be clear at first glance is that these kids are not built on the 4×4 main character standard but rather on the smaller 3×3 buddy standard. This helps to maintain the proper scale when they gather around the lovable groundskeeper, Rubeus Hagrid. The set includes 466 pieces and will be available on June 1, 2021. LEGO has not released pricing information at the time of writing this review, but based on previous BrickHeadz sets with multiple characters, I would guess that the set will be around $24.99 US.

Thanks to German retailer JB Spielwaren we get a first look at the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Great Knight’s Castle that harkens nostalgic vibes back to the days of the LEGO Classic Castle. Priced at 99 Euros and slated to be released on the 1st of June, the set comes with over 1500 pieces.

If you are a fan of the Harry Potter franchise and a collector of BrickHeadz, you might be scratching your head at the one-sided line-up released so far, which includes the three heroes of the story, along with Dumbledore, Hagrid, Buckbeak, and Newt, but only one villain so far, Gellert Grindelwald. Well, that is about to change. With the upcoming release of a brand new batch of bad guys and girls. That’s right, the most feared villain in history, He Who Must Not Be Named himself, Lord Voldemort, is finally joining the ranks of BrickHeadz along with his snake Nagini and Bellatrix Lestrange. LEGO BrickHeadz Harry Potter 40496 Voldemort, Nagini, and Bellatrix includes 344 pieces and will be available starting June 1, 2021. LEGO has not released a price or parts count at the time of this review, but based on previous multi-character sets, I’m guessing it will be around $24.99 US.
