Don’t get caught by the Krabouillator

Christophe Bongay built a bone-crushingly brutal creation called the Krabouillator. It looks deadly, and I sure don’t want to be on the business end of this thing.

Remote controlled mini truck

Moritz Nolting (Nolnet) experiments with incorporating the power functions RC system into the smallest truck he can make to produce a creation that’s both functional and visually authentic. I really like how the bulky battery box is cleverly incorporated as the cargo container of the truck.

Check out the Youtube video showing the truck in action and see it do a wheelie.

Fan with “X-ray vision” finds chrome Darth Vader minifig

LEGO Star Wars fan Starstreak knew for certain he was going to find a rare limited edition Chrome Vader minifig in an unopened set! At first, you might think he glued back the box, but I assure you the box was legitimately never opened. The video that he posted is too awesome to deny because it’s 100% genuine.

And by the way, he did not video-tape every box he opened :)

Admiral Benbow Inn has a roof made of cheese

The Brick Time recently revised an earlier version of the Admiral Benbow Inn. Most notable among the changes is the new roof, which is built from cheese slopes using a clever but simple technique. There’s about 2500 of these roof tiles in the overall 9000 piece diorama, making it quite an impressive build.

Nautilus starfighter spirals out of control

The F550-Nautilus Fighter by Ben Jarvis is crazy beyond my imagination. It consists of an intricate skeletal shell laced with tubings. I still can’t put my mind to it.

The Northland Grimmhaven

The Northland Grimmhaven display from The Brick Time appeared on Brickshelf recently after being displayed at an exhibition in Berlin. This diorama no doubt has much details packed in, especially the the robust plaza at the back.

Dead end of the track

Maciej Drwiega from LUGPol presents a differently flavored train creation, one that depicts the more run-down end of things. Check out this small scene of a decaying flatbed train on an abandoned rail.

Daniel Z’s castle evolution (stage 2)

Here is the second stage of Daniel Z‘s castle evolution project, in which the small cottage dwelling in stage 1 has acquired some stone fortifiction and new structures within. This is turning out to be very fascinating to watch.

Bigg’s Pohatu dives underwater

Patrick Biggs (Kopakashau) combined Bionicle elements with System parts to make this striking Toa variation of Pohatu. I just love the flexibility on this and most Bionicle based creations. Of course, the cool weapon choice makes the creation complete.

Jehkay’s capital ship hones in on target

Jehkay‘s space carrier is one beauty of a spacecraft. It stands apart from ordinary ships in its unique design featuring these large quarter circle bricks. The bottom of the creation is also equally well-crafted, holding a special place for a deadly railgun.

Pierce enemy lines with the Vector APC

Luis (TerremotoQuake) presents a sleek and deadly armored personnel carrier called the Vector. In addition to the ultra-smooth tiled exterior, the interior is just as immaculate. But purists beware, this APC seats non-LEGO army soldiers, seemingly chosen to show the smaller-than-minifig-scale of the creation.
