Michael Jasper (mijasper) is no stranger to TBB. His creative uses of odd-ball parts are always elegant examples of what can be done with LEGO. His latest desk makes brilliant use of the printed 1×1 plates from the Minecraft set as well as the new ice cream cone from Friends…not to mention the lipstick usage!

So Long And Thanks For All The Fish
Sometimes it’s not the biggest models that make a splash, as Michael Jasper proves with this stunning dolphin sculpture. And, no, I don’t think Michael intended a Hitchhiker’s Guide reference, but that’s what I think of every time I see dolphins.
A game of ping-pong
Michael Jasper‘s table tennis scene is as usual an inspiration in parts usage. Can you find the ping-pong ball?
4×4
Michael Jasper (mijasper) has long had a much deserved reputation as the king of all things tiny. These tiny four-wide Chevys are actually bigger than his usual work and are exceptionally good. Proof that you don’t need to build big to build well.
Stirring the pot
I like all the simple clever techniques and the sheer range of elements used by Michael Jasper to make this little scene of Miraculix Panoramix brewing a potion. Lots of “What is that?” and “How did he do that?” to keep the eye entertained.

On the road again, with Michael Jasper
That powerhouse of a builder, Michael Jasper, has been building choppers. In his usual fashion, he’s been building a lot of them and using all sorts of different pieces in unusual ways. Check out the whole gallery for some lovely eye-candy.
The sweet sounds of Michael Jasper’s musical instruments
Michael Jasper showcased some cool string bass and saxophone designs played by his Some Like it Hot characters last week, but he’s just added some more amazing musical instrument designs.
Not only do these Scotsmen carry ingenious bagpipes, but they’re also wearing kilts (made from minifig torsos):
This design for an electric guitar rocks my world:
Rock on, Michael Jasper, rock on.
Michael Jasper goes Scientific
Michael Jasper is one of our favorite builders here on The Brothers Brick. He has recently updated his Characters gallery with major contributors to the sciences: Alfred Nobel and Carl Zeiss.
Michael Jasper refuses to give in to peer pressure
New updates to genius-builder Michael Jasper‘s Brickshelf folders of Characters and Things are always a treat.
But Michael has posted a completely new conceptual gallery — “Peer Pressure” — that illustrates his storytelling skills with the simplest of creations:

Van Gogh and Sir Francis Drake by Michael Jasper
Michael Jasper never ceases to amaze in his ability to evoke the spirit of famous historical characters. Oh, and he’s one of the most innovative minifig builders around — check out Van Gogh’s painting and those pantaloons on Sir Francis Drake!
