This Conviction Crusader will show its enemies who’s boss

“Constructed around a massive particle cannon and also equipped with ion guns and anti-fighter turrets, these destroyers decisively end space fleet battles with overwhelming force.” Victor K‘s description of his Conviction Crusader lets us know how menacing the ship is, but the description stops short of describing how cool the ship looks. There’s no “up” anywhere, with plates and bricks being stacked in all directions. The bulky, angular engines face one way, while the main lines of the hull are perpendicular. The result is a craft that looks right at home in space, where “up” and “down” are mere suggestions.

LEGO Star Wars 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter: the comeback story arc [Review]

Before the X-wing, there was the ARC-170. Well OK, technically there was nothing before the X-wing as the original Star Wars came out before the prequel films – but let’s not get into semantics just yet! While the former has seen plenty of LEGO iterations down the years, there have been just two sets of the Republic’s main starfighter, and none since 2011. None until now, that is! LEGO Star Wars 75402 ARC-170 Starfighter forms part of the new line of LEGO Star Wars sets coming out on January 1, 2025. With 497 pieces, it can be pre-ordered now for US $69.99 | CAN $89.99 | UK £59.99, and will likely be available on eBay and Amazon too. Does this hotly-anticipated comeback live up to its billing? Read on to find out!

LEGO Technic 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S Motorcycle – More of the same? [Review]

Way back in 2020, LEGO produced 42107 Technic Ducati Panigale V4 R. At the time it was special because it was the first Technic motorcycle with a gearbox. Four years later, we’re being treated with LEGO Technic 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S Motorcycle, the latest superbike in the Ducati line. At first glance, apart from the body and color, it seems like it will be pretty similar to the other large-scale Technic motorcycles. Join us as we take a closer look. The 1,603-piece Panigale V4 S is currently available as a pre-order to LEGO Insiders, and will be more widely available starting January 1st for US $199.99 | CAN $259.99 | UK £169.99.

LEGO Marvel 76314 Captain America: Civil War Action Battle – Which side wins?

When LEGO Marvel 76314 Captain America: Civil War Action Battle first debuted on the LEGO website, I was immediately struck by two thoughts. First, that’s definitely an entire Ant-Man construction figure contained within this set. And second, I remember the similar 2016 set LEGO Marvel 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle to be an amazing one. Releasing on January 1st, 2025, and containing 736 pieces, LEGO Marvel 76314 Captain America: Civil War Action Battle retails for US $99.99 | CAN $129.99 | UK £89.99. With so many existing sets to compare to, how will this new CA:CW battle scene hold up?
