World Record Lego Bridge Attempt
The Perth Adult Lego Society (PALS) will have a Lego train display running at the 2009 Australian Model Railway Expo at the Claremont Showgrounds, Perth, Western Australia. The show runs from Saturday 30th May to Monday 1st June.
Part of the display will be a 14m long self-supporting Lego bridge. Come along and see if it will support itself and hopefully set a world record!

Dr. X shows us how zombie-apoc is done with these excellent vehicles. They look like contemporary vehicles, but with stuff tacked on. That is good.
Kevin Blocksidge (Kevoh) has defied implausibility and come up with a starship that could potentially work and exist. The centrifuged areas are a fantastic touch.
Very few people render castle models and even fewer do it well. Aellaron is a rare and exciting exception. He even manages to put good minifig life in his scenes which is, from my experience, quite difficult.
Jesus, Tim, do you have some sort of contractual obligation to jump on every bandwagon that comes down the pike?

I’m a massive fan of Squieu’s mecha and he’s just posted a heap of new stuff including the above-pictured ‘krw’. I can never get enough of his stuff.

Making good use of the LEGO Power Functions System Danden has made an attractive and working cog railway. He even shows us how to do it.

Unlike most pics we blog here the bulk of this isn’t LEGO. But the rear train is Carl Greatrix’s 9F loco on Pete Waterman’s (of Kylie Minogue fame) model train layout. I think it’s great to see just how well LEGO can stand against ‘real’ models.
