Hold on for a wild ride in LEGO Creator Expert 10261 Roller Coaster [Review]

As soon as rumors of Creator Expert 10261 Roller Coaster started flowing, there seemed to be a huge sigh of, “Finally!” that spread throughout the LEGO fan community. I’ll shamelessly admit that I was one of the ones bouncing up and down, shouting that it was about darn time. But even if you weren’t as excited as I was, I’m guessing that it at least piqued your interest, and perhaps that interest brought you here.

When we recently had the chance to go hands-on with the roller coaster at the 2018 Fall Preview event in New York, it was so much fun that we definitely couldn’t wait to do our own review. We anxiously awaited our copy from Billund and it’s finally here! So step right up! Let’s plunge in and see what the exclusive LEGO Creator Expert 10261 Roller Coaster has to offer!

Take a 12 foot high ride on the Worlds largest Lego Ferris Wheel [Video]

While LEGO’s own official Ferris Wheel set stands at a measly  23 inches (60cm) high, this World record holding LEGO Ferris Wheel is a whopping 12 feet (365cm) high. Built by Tomáš Kašpařík, the same builder as brought us the amazing wooden-style LEGO rollercoaster, this creation contains over 40,000 parts and took around 300 hours to build. Amazingly, the ferris wheel is powered by 2 small LEGO Power Functions motors.

Park 0937: perfect LEGO theme park for all minifigs

It may have taken two years to complete this amazing diorama but Alexis Dos Santos definitely nailed it! Alexis covered the whole theme park with numerous attractions including a fantasy castle, horror mansion, drop tower, flyer, carousel, hurricane, log flume, circling railroad, Ferris wheel, gondola and many more!

Most of them seem to be fully functional with the help of Power Functions parts. The diorama is not only filled with amazing details but it is also built in a stylish manner which adds a lot of character. Park 0937 turned out to be my most favorite theme park ever!

A true Legoland Theme Park: 100% LEGO

Pro building team Olive Seon are back it with another magnificent brick-built beauty; this time a theme park. The awesome high-flying roller coaster really ties the model together, and also gives you a sense of scale for just how small most LEGO dioramas really are. As per usual with these builders, there is a lot to look at and loads of fun little details to spy. My favorites are the LEGO Architecture line buildings used for a miniland within the park.
