I really like the new AT-ST from LEGO, but this one is awesome! Note the samurai armor under the walker’s “chin.”

Well, it’s that time of the year again. Fans everywhere are running across better and better pictures of upcoming sets. Eurobricks is famous (dare I say notorious?) for finding leaked pictures, and this latest batch is no exception.
Bearing in mind that we don’t yet know if these are just prototypes, and that LEGO has not yet confirmed that these are even “official,” here are a few of my favorites (see Eurobricks for bigger pictures and several more I didn’t include here):

Whether it’s Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, a little ‘shopping can go a long way toward improving the presentation of a LEGO creation. Don Solo puts his own spin on Adrian Florea’s entry in the “X-wing Evolved” contest, and then kicks things up a notch with a great backdrop.
I noticed this in one of my Flickr feeds last month but thought that someone had just mis-tagged it “LEGO” (as sometimes happens). But then I saw it again in nnenn‘s photostream when I was blogging a couple of his recent microscale creations a few minutes ago. Knowing that nnenn only posts LEGO creations (well, mostly LEGO), I did a double-take. Yes, in fact, it is LEGO:
This is by far the best TIE fighter I’ve ever seen built from LEGO. Notice especially the detail between the upper and lower wings and the hinges used to angle the border around each wing. (According to nnenn’s description, the only non-LEGO is a few pieces of black tape to cover Technic holes and to create the stripes on the cockpit.)
The “Brickshelf crisis” seems to have interrupted the momentum of Microspacetopia, and ApocaLEGO (yes, we made a category), but that doesn’t mean people aren’t still building cool new microscale creations.

FBTB member dotbstudios has apparently discovered that the new AT-ST set uses the same connection for its legs as the Dino Attack T-rex. This was so funny I couldn’t stop laughing. :D
My brother attends Comic-Con just about every year, and has told me all about the great costumes some people wear. “Boba Fetts roving in herds” sticks in my mind. Anyway, Kotaku has a great picture of two people dressed up as minifigs from LEGO Star Wars:
