Flickr member 713 Avenue recently developed an interest in photo shooting Star Wars trooper minifigs with Apple products and other whimsical settings. The results are interesting and comical, they definitely define some personality underneath the helmets of these minifigs.
We recently glimpsed pictures of the upcoming General Grievous figure set, but for those who can’t wait until summer to display the General, LEGO has instructions available (Part 1 and Part 2). Matt (Pepa Quin) found out that he has most of the pieces to build the model.
It has been confirmed that LEGO will be releasing a General Greivous figure set for the summer.
Mike Psiaki (pronounced like “psyche”) updates his Republic Gunship with the new look of version 2. Besides the mastery craftsmanship, it’s interesting to note the balance between studded elements and tiled elements that results in the varied texture of the ship.

Animator Sjaak Alvarez uses Autodesk 3ds max 9 and Adobe After Effects CS3 to create really cool (and funny!) videos set in the LEGO Star Wars universe.

You know how it goes. You build something for a contest, but you don’t get around to finishing it on time or taking pictures. Well, in the case of Zach Clapsadle‘s Jedi Steamfighter, the lateness doesn’t detract from the awesomeness.
Zach says he wanted to create a complete hyperdrive ring. Yowza! Let’s hope he comes back to this project and does that.
