Monkfish44 is training insectoid, bug-eyed creatures in the way of the ninja. Doesn’t seem to wise, if you ask me. Those things have a way of turning on you.

Mad Scientist on Parade
This spindly-legged walker, by demdike, screams out the evilness of its owner. I’m loving the plethora of automated minions too. Hopefully the builder enters this in the BrickScience contest!
Welcome to the Gronlif’s Magic Forest!
Johannes “Jojo” Koehler just finished uploading the rest of his pictures of his incredible Magic Forest. Its definitely been worth the wait. Go check it out. Now!
Check out Jojo’s Flickr account as well.
Steven’s Folly
Steven Marshall has posted a really nice ruined keep, which he calls “Folly”. Building a good ruin is harder than it appears. But this builder has done a seamless job of combining the ruin with the landscaping. The fact that he uses technic liftarms for the walls is an added bonus.
Desert + Hideout + Guns = Apocalypse!
This arid desert hideout by CrimsonWolf is full of highly detailed goodness. I’m definitely going to have to steal that spiky plant idea.
It isn’t always “Happily ever after”
Nolnet shows us that life often has unexpected consequences. Kissing a frog never seemed like a good thing to me anyway.
Best use of a SpongeBob fig I’ve seen yet.

Doing the Apocalypse on a Mono-Wheel
demdike takes on the coming Apocalypse with this nifty Mono-Wheel raiding bike. I love the details, especially the driver’s “goggles”…
Steampunk Tiger Moth
Its been awhile since we’ve showcased any Steampunk. Check out this sweet monoplane by 2 Much Caffeine.
Award-Winning Butterfly
BisonFuehrer recently posted this award-winning creation. Though built back in ’97, it still has the ability to impress.
Geekdad wants you! [News]
We have recently been contacted by John Baichtal of the Geekdad blog, on Wired. He is writing a book on our extremely addictive hobby and he wants you in it! Why you? Because you are charming, pretty, and you collect Lego.
He wants to profile as many adult builders as possible. While not everyone will make it into the book, he is planning on including a bunch of you crazy people. The more interesting the better, he said. And I know you folks are interesting. I’ve hung out with you at Cons, in chat rooms, and in forums. “Interesting” may be putting it mildly.
Anyway, are you in? If so, send the following info to John (brickbook@yahoo.com):
1) Headshot
2) Your name as you would like it to appear, your location and your age.
3) Answer as many of the following questions as you’d like:
What are you building?
Favorite set?
Favorite brick color?
Favorite genre?
What music do you listen to when building?
When’s your best building time?
If I left off a question you’re dying to answer, feel free to include it.
So there you are! Its your chance at those coveted 15 minutes of fame. Get cracking!
