I usually avoid making a judgement call about a model being the ‘best yet’ (at least here on TBB). But I’m making an exception for Mike Psiaki’s (psiaki) latest iteration of the X-Wing Starfighter. Mike has packed in every detail possible from an accurate backside to detailed guns to working landing gear.

If one wanted a LEGO Kombi one could buy set 10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van. But I’d rather Peter Blackert’s (lego911) remote-control drift Kombi. Although, I suppose, both would be good.
Brickshelf user tkh has some brilliant manga/hobby characters in his galleries. His latest, one Melissa Seraphy, is particularly amazing.
It’s NoVVember again. This one is from its host Peter Morris and Rich M (Zaximillian). I’m not sure if it’s the lines, the colours or a combination of the two but it’s got such an aggressive macho look.

Lino Martins (Lino M) claims this Yo-Yo is 100% LEGO and who are we to argue? I’m also wondering if this model doesn’t have the fewest pieces of any we’ve blogged here.
And to let you all in on a personal shame: if you give me a yo-yo I will be ‘that annoying yo-yo guy’ until it breaks. Not the one who can do tricks, the one who just makes it go up and down constantly. I get so mesmerised.
I’m quite willing to make the call that George Panteleon’s (ZetoVince) The Batman’s Tumbler from Dark Knight is the best I’ve ever seen at minifig scale.

A little while back we blogged Matija Grguric rail construction diorama and I mentioned that the train it featured was actually a German engine. Matija has now remedied this with his excellent Western Train. I’m glad he waited for after the Eurobricks competition to post this.
Matija Grguric has been building American “Old West” dioramas for a while now and they’ve all been excellent. But his latest one is a particularly neat depiction of the construction of a railway line. The workmans’ tents are a beautiful touch. Great stuff.
RAILBRICKS issue 10 is just out. Chock full of the usual trainy goodness with a focus on recent events. And it’s happy editor birthday to Elroy Davis who marks one year in charge of RAILBRICKS.
