LEGO Builder Grant Davis has been having a lot of fun lately with the 4×4 flower part. Here he’s used it to decorate the roof of this Gingerbread House. But this isn’t the only smart usage of parts in this sweet treat. A gingerbread house is typically decorated by piping icing onto the gingerbread base, and Grant used all sorts of organically shaped white parts to mimic this. Among the parts he used are the egg, the candle and a lot of round, half-round and quarter-round tiles. The use of rubber bands beneath the eaves and for the X-shaped windows deserves a quick mention too. Did you spot the different types of helmets he used for candy?

Devour the delicious LEGO 10267 Winter Village Gingerbread House [Review]
The Winter Village series is always highly anticipated, keeping LEGO fans on their toes regarding what the next set will be in the ever-growing storybook town. The series is celebrating eleven years of beloved Christmas scenes, the first of which was introduced in 2009. Now, fans of the theme can build the Winter Village Gingerbread House. Minus the re-release of the very first Winter Village Toy Shop in 2015, this is the tenth set in the series. It consists of 1477 pieces, the second-highest piece count in this series after the Winter Village Cottage (1490 pieces). Set 10267 Gingerbread House is priced at US $99.99 | CAN $139.99 | UK £89.99 and will be available on the 1st of October.

Behind the scenes of the new LEGO 10267 Gingerbread House [Video]
LEGO has published a festive video showing off the new Winter Village set, 10267 Gingerbread House. Former LEGO Designer Tiago Catarino gives a hands-on tour of the set, showing off the whimsical design, play features and gingerbread minifigures.
Tiago said that the most difficult parts of designing the set were getting the multiple angles of the roof to work together as well as nailing the look of the chimney. He also told one of his dark secrets that he has actually never tasted gingerbread! Hopefully that changes this holiday season.
Tiago was a LEGO designer for a little over three years, but left earlier this summer for family reasons, meaning that this video has been kept under wraps for quite some time! We wish Tiago the best of luck, and thanks for leaving us with such a sweet goodbye present.

A peaceful winter village with a unique Christmas tree
What do you do when you get your hands on a giant pile of white ornamental fence pieces? Build an extravagant winter village of course! At least, that’s what builder Joe Gan did. The lovely white houses definitely make this picture zoom-worthy, but my favorite part is the giant purple Christmas tree. The color choice, in addition to the other accents throughout, make for an eye-catching build.

10259 Winter Village Station [Review]
With Christmas just around the corner, it is time to turn on some festive music and start decorating! For many LEGO fans, that means building the newest addition to the holiday line: 10259 Winter Village Station. The set includes 902 pieces and five minifigures, and retails for $79.99 USD.
The box
Similar in size to previous holiday sets, the Winter Village Station box shows a plethora of play functions as well as a photo of the 10254 Winter Holiday Train pulling into the station. It is immediately obvious the two sets were designed to complement each other, but we will have more thoughts about that later.
