Daniel García (AlterEvo) wants us to know that there’s more to building post apocalyptic creations than zombies and gun-toting survivors. He’s mixed old and new grays to great effect here.
This is also the perfect complement to the shiny vehicular vision of the future I just posted.
Atomic Pop is my favorite toy/comic book store in Baltimore, and Atomic Punk is now my favorite hot rod. Nathan Proudlove (Proudlove) did a great job rendering this car in LEGO form.
Ok, so perhaps I’m a sucker for anything with a bubble dome, sue me.

The simplicity of the power pole is also a nice touch.

This pair of vehicles by Carter Baldwin may be the ugliest we’ve featured here. Carter’s new NATO “Jackal” LRV is a chunkified slice of awesome, but that troop transport is just plain wicked.
I always love LEGO Technic creations that look like they’re built from SYSTEM components, but turn out to have lots of functionality. This Liebherr L580 Marek Markiewicz is an excellent example of SYSTEM aesthetics combined with Technic capabilities.

It’s no secret that I’m fond of Pakistani trucks and it’s a love I share with Adam Grabowski (misterzumbi). Let’s face it, Adam does it better than me.
And for any doubters the bags are duplo sleeping bags.
Rocko has finished his ginormous AT-AT Imperial Walker and its bigger and badder than any AT-AT ever built. It’s definitely menacing. The thing is tall enough to scare me.
Still deciding to get some chrome bricks? This Peterbilt 379 model by Jörg (lichtblau) may just convince you. It’s got enough shiny-shiny to drool over, but there’s also cool features such as an opening hood and sleeper cab.
I have a very warm spot in my heart for the Piper J-3 Cub and this rendition by Ricardo Prates is a beauty. I’m really impressed that he was able to reproduce the iconic black stripe without using a sticker. Very nicely done.
Though vehicles by Mark Stafford (nabii) tend more toward the spacey, new creations from him are no less an event than ones from his LEGO coworker Adam.
The “Saddleback” is part of the Star Justice universe designed by Chris Giddens. The front-end greebles are gorgeous, as are the engines (encircled by skis).
