This is simply incredible. I passed it over several times because I thought it was a drawing. People are always saying that some build or other doesn’t look like LEGO. Well, this one really doesn’t. This build is nothing short of outstanding. Mark Anderson built it. Obviously, he is awesome.

LEGO Tank from Ghost in the Shell
Those who’ve been around the LEGO community for a while may know I’ve been planning a LEGO version of the Ghost in the Shell tank (from the movie) for quite some time. In fact I posted my first CAD version 5 years ago after starting it nine months before that.
I won’t say it’s finished now (because I doubt I’ll ever consider it finished) but, after nearly six years from starting it, I think it’s ready to share in the brick. It’s close to fully articulated although the middle legs don’t move left/right (to improve strength). The torso is on a ball joint as is the head for maximal poseability.
Shawn’s LEGO Predator hunts you invisibly
Shawn Snyder has been building a variety of Predator head sculptures for a couple of years, but when he brought an early version of his latest to a SEALUG meeting a few months back, I knew it was going to become my favorite. The completed sculpture was worth the wait, and even better than I imagined.
Expanding on his fearsome Predator head design, Shawn incorporates brick-built skulls, bones, and body armor to complete the look.
Release the Lego Kraken!
Light-up Lego Tron lightcycle
Jared Burks (Kaminoan) used EL wires to light up a Tron lightcycle designed by Ewok in Disguise. The minifigure uses custom decals designed by the master customizer himself.
Spider-Man vs. Sandman
Mr. Xenomurphy‘s scene of the battle between Spider-Man and Sandman justly portrays this somewhat obscure villain. The building, despite being the backdrop, is also another highlight of the scene. The usage of 1X2 bricks and tiles mimics the realistic look of the buildings.

Mr. Kim’s flying restaurant from the Fifth Element
Niek Geurts of MrBrick.nl recently posted a lovely LEGO version of Korben Dallas’s favorite restaurant from The Fifth Element.
While I love the boat’s hull and all the details Nieks has included, his technique for adding the background is just as interesting:
I wouldn’t have expected that taking a picture in front of a computer screen would turn out so well!
M41A1 Pulse Rifle is perfect for a bughunt – in short, controlled bursts
I can’t believe Aliens is 25 years old. I’m not sure Giovanni Tuzzi built this life-size M41A1 Pulse Rifle to celebrate the movie’s anniversary, but it’s certainly awesome.
Giovanni’s rifle includes several working functions, including triggers, cocking handle, pumping grip, and removable magazine.
Lights, Camera, Action!
Tommy Williamson built these incredible trophies for the winners of his PchLUG101 contest and they are awesome builds in their own right. The light and the camera are especially worthy.
60´s Batcave
Alex Schranz (“Orion Pax”) follows up his Batcave with a more nostalgic version. But alas, if you remember the 60’s, then you probably didn’t live through them.
LEGO Serenity from Firefly series
tbone_tbl just finished this rendition of the iconic ship “Serenity” from Firefly and it’s gorgeous! I love that show. Joss Whedon is my master.
Lego Battlestar Defender measures over 6 feet long
Garry King finished his largest creation: a massive brick-built version of the Battlestar Defender from Battlestar Galactica. He estimates that between 30-40 thousand pieces were used in the model. You can see work-in-progress pictures on Brickshelf.
