The VW T1 Camper Van has been released by LEGO both as a Creator Expert set and as a polibag set. This particular build by hachiroku24 stands out for a closer and more accurate look with the new triangle pieces introduced not very long ago and clever use of the vertical tooth pieces. YouTuber The Action Brick shares the love for Fortnite and his LEGO knowledge with a couple easy-to-follow minifigure-scale building guides. Gather your materials and drop into these instructional videos showing how to build a glider and Loot Llama from the wildly popular battle royale! These mini builds were featured in his vignette of the Fatal Fields region.
First, we have the default glider. After following these instructions, all you will need is a minifigure avatar to fly it!
Second, we have the cute little Loot Llama! Will its contents lead to a victory royale?
There have been dozens of Batmobile designs over the years — one for each generation and iteration of the Dark Knight. If you grew up in the late 80’s and caught the 1989 Batman movie directed by Tim Burton, you probably love and remember that version well. Jerry Builds Bricks shares with us a version of the 1989 Batmobile in an instructional video format. The best part is you can actually fit a Batman Minifigure in the vehicle quite snugly!

Sometimes I wonder which would be the slower vehicle — the paver that lays asphalt on roads, or the Zamboni ice resurfacer. I’ve been practising the Wingardium Leviosa spell for quite a while now, but it’s not been very effective. Builder hachiroku24 seems to have better success than I’m having. I blame my wand instead of the lack of skill. As a fan of LEGO, I feel the bricks calling and channelling through me, and I believe that it will be the right instrument for me instead of the wooden wands. Fans will be pleased to know that LEGO has released instructions for all 3 of the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 exclusive sets. Many of the sets in previous exclusives have had unique printed pieces or parts that make them hard for fans to build without paying the hefty secondary-market price. This year LEGO has taken the additional effort to show that they’re listening. While you still won’t get the exclusive packaging with comic book-style box, the rest of the parts should be available in other sets, or maybe already in your collection, and that’s a fair compromise.

The 1988 sci-fi Japanese animated film Akira gave life to one of the most iconic bikes that remains entrenched in pop-culture 30 years later. Making an appearance again in the recent movie Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg only further reinforces that legacy. We have Jerry Builds Bricks to thank for sharing a quick build of this amazing bike. There’s no better way to honour this favourite by building your very own miniature version of it.

I’ve fallen in love with Camaro muscle cars ever since I first saw the updated version of the Transformer Bumblebee was brought to the big screen. This one’s not a mechanical life-form in disguise, but builder hachiroku24 has done quite good with the limited scale of this a red-hot car, and has even provided instructions. It will definitely be one to add to your car brick garage if you can gather the pieces to put it together.

Two best buddies from the mystery-lovin’ gang in Scooby Doo takes shape in the ever-growing line of custom LEGO Brickheadz figures. Instructions for the duo are provided by Dave from Brick 101 in a video form.
It’s great to see a non-human taking shape as a BrickHeadz character instead of the typical figures we usually get. Scooby Doo is a breath of fresh air indeed and that piece of beard on Shaggy is an absolute delight!

Here’s a fun vignette from Elspeth De Montes of a Technic figure bike mechanic working on his bicycles. Open drawers and containers full of tools and parts make the scene lively, but the bicycle model is the highlight here, showing off the excellent use of various bars, clips, and even a ray gun for the frame.
Perhaps the most notable parts usage on Elspeth’s bicycle is the clear pulleys as wheels, which she says was inspired by a fellow builder. Elspeth’s bicycle model is fantastic, and you can build your own with this step-by-step breakdown.
I was never satisfied with LEGO’s attempt at a microscale Republic Gunship (also known as an LAAT) from the 2013 advent calendar, as it lacked the signature long engines, unless that’s what the binocular piece is supposed to represent. So a few days ago, since I’m working on a larger Star Wars microscale build, I thought I would try my hand at a micro LAAT, then a day later, I ended up with these two. Although I wasn’t worried about part count, these use only 19 pieces each, just five more than LEGO’s version.
