This is what we’re all about. We scour the web for the best custom LEGO models to share with you. From castles and spaceships to planes, trains, and automobiles, you’ll find the best LEGO creations from builders all over the world right here on The Brothers Brick.

An Unexpected Discovery

As soon as I’ve seen this photo’s thumbnail, it reminded me of Avatar. I turns out that -infomaniac- really based this creation on the Western Air Temple from the show. Amazing rock work, beautiful trees and architecture is what makes me like this.

An Unexpected Discovery

On the side note, if you still haven’t, it’s time to start watching the sequel to Avatar – Legend of Korra. You too might get inspired to build something as awesome as this.

It’s a Twister!

This creation from Dr. Church is a great combination of building to suggest motion (the minifigs, the trees and the structure all deformed away from twister) and actual motion (the twister actually spins!):

and check out this video of it in It’s a Twister!

It blew me away when I saw this ;-)

I like-ah this Leica

H.Y. Leung (Mr.Attacki) appears to be relatively new on flickr, however, a quick Google search reveals that he has been on MOCpages for a while longer. But one thing for sure, these fantastic creations don’t appear to be getting the attention they deserve!!

These are two of my favourites, but be sure to click through the rest as well.

Execute Order Chibi Chibi!!!

I have found in my years engrossed within the LEGO building community that builders utilizing the “Chibi” style of design are few and far between.  Kevin Ryhal has created a set of Chibi 501st ARF Troopers and AT-RT walkers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  His attention to detail mixed with his “Chibi-ness” design is amazing, but add in “mecha” style articulation to the joints and it becomes most impressive.

Astro Boy

Without a doubt Astro Boy was one of my favourite cartoons as a kid. So as soon as I saw Fredoichi’s lastest creation I knew I had to post it here :D

Lego Astro Boy

Both the build and the editing perfectly capture this iconic character!

Castle of the Royal Bat

I really love all the angles and curves on this small brilliant castle. Even the base is round instead of rectangular. Another original detail is all the ‘legwork’ on the water. Be sure to take a look at other castles from Lukasz Wiktorowicz as this one is definitelly not his only ace.

A beetle you don’t want to mess with!

Ted Andes (ted @ndes) utilizes System, Bionicle/Hero Factory and Technic parts to brilliant effect to make one cool looking speeder bike for the new Galaxy Patrol Collectible Minifig.

Scarab

Also have to make mention of the awesome presentation. The use of the scarab shield as the logo is superb!!

Return of Spook: YR9 Serval

YR9 Serval

After a brief absence, Tim Zarki aka spook returns with a beautiful microspace build. The scaling of the ship makes it seem very large, though it appears to be only around 20 studs long. Such adept detail work, with the varied angles, the cockpit and the studs out construction. It reminds me of dasnewton’s spaceships only in microscale. Well, I’m inspired. Welcome back spook!

The Old Lifeboat Station

The stonework technique on this Lifeboat Station by Derfel Cadarn is wonderful, especially when combined with the architectural features like the archway and roof design.

It came from the Deep!

This scene from Groovybones (Sam Malmberg) appeals to me on a number of levels, but mainly due to the fact that it really looks like a kraken has arisen from the deep.  The water effect, tentacles and minifig positioning achieve this illusion brilliantly.

When it is all about fun!!

No great shocker that Karf Oohlu creates some pretty zany fun little creations. But his two latest posts both just made me chuckle :D

First he has his Vegetron (The Chlorofytastic biobot)…this just really made me laugh out loud!!

Vegetron

Secondly he posted his Space Tugboat Samson. Some really creative parts usages going on, specifically with the ‘tractor beam’.

So next time you feel like you need to have a little giggle, or a chuckle…or even just a smile…browse through Karf’s stream…guaranteed to do the job

An Unexpected Journey

We still have long time to wait for The Hobbit in theaters, but here is a little treat that makes the wait easier. Bricko (Caleb) has recreated a Hobbit poster in LEGO. Both the nice model and adept photography makes this poster just perfect.
