This could all just be hearsay, but a short article on CoolToyReview.com claims LEGO will be producing sets based upon the upcoming Indiana Jones IV film. Does this mean Johnny Thunder’s adventures are over?

10181 Eiffel Tower Pictures
Brickshelfer rogueyoda has somehow gotten his hands on a LEGO Eiffel Tower set. LEGO Eiffel Tower?? When’d this happen? Have I’ve been absorbed in brickfilming so much I missed this? What else have I missed? Anyway, the set looks awesome. rogueyoda is still building the set appearently, but he’s posted some box pictures and some work in progress pictures. Here’s the gallery for more pictures. Man, I need more cash. Anyone want an out-of-date textbook on American politics for $50?
The Day Brickfilms.com Crashed
This is a brickfilmer organized by myself and animated by myself and eleven other brickfilmers. Enjoy!
For some reason embedding YouTube clips doesn’t work for me, so here’s the link:
EDIT (AB): Embed’d. I’ll shoot you an e-mail with a couple technical questions.
We Watch Them All On YouTube
As the popularity of YouTube has increased, so too has the number of brickfilms are YouTube. YouTube is an excellent place for brickfilmers to post and share their stop-motion animations.
Here are some brickfilmer YouTube channels, including my own:
Those should be enough to keep you occupied for a while. Enjoy! BTW, if you didn’t get the title reference….
The Love Shack Cubed
No crossover is impossible in the twisted (and brilliant) mind of Mike Crowley: The Love Shack meets the Borg of Star Trek.
The cube folds open to reveal one of the most detailed LEGO playsets I’ve seen.
The rest of the Flikr gallery.
A personal note: I’m very sorry I haven’t been contributing to TBB lately, I was quite busy this semester with classes, and whatever time I had for LEGO (which wasn’t much) I dedicated to brickfilming. I’ve got summer school in a few weeks, but I plan on contributing at least twice a week. Its good to be back.

A small plug: my brickfilm Beast (watch it here on YouTube), second-place winner in the Brickfilms.com Fame, Infamy and Glory contest, has been nominated for Best Sound Design. I’m honored, but also amused. I hated doing the sound for Beast, especially since I was working with Windows Movie Maker 2 at the time, and had to struggle with only one audio track.
The BAMPAs have a seperate website, but it hasn’t been updated in a while.
My LEGO figure has dated more girls than I have!
See for yourself:
At least Ginny doesn’t have an RPG like last time. Oh, wait…
Holy %&*#!@.
Don’t forget to check out Caylin’s post on Classic-Castle.

I’m still busy taking detailed pictures and writing up a review, but in the meantime enjoy this time laspe video of me building the greatest LEGO set ever. Over three hours compressed into five and a half minutes.

EDIT: Dang it, for some reason the video is refusing to embed. Here’s a link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=KDdyF1ihThY
LEGO MMOG (!!!!!!)
Everyone’s favorite plastic LEGO brick has already been incarnated in digital form through thrid-party software (Ldraw), computer games (LEGO Island, etc) and other software (LEGO Factory), but coming to 2008, The LEGO Company, in parnership with NetDevil, is launching a Massively Multiplater Online Game. Excited? Check out the website and press release!
(Thanks to Brickfilms.com member Dan and Classic-Castle member Jake_Snicket for the heads–up)
EDIT (AB): Added three more exclamation points to the post title. Just because this is the most awesomest ever.
It’s not easy being green...
…unless you’ve got big guns! Classic-Castler Magnus has recently posted a bunch of military-themed MOCs, including several armored humvees and tanks. Gotta love the green/dark green/dark gray camouflage.
Get your stinkin’ paws off me, you damn, dirty Exo-Ape!
Nelson Yrizarry has done it again. Tremble in fear and awe at his Planet of the Exo-Apes vignette. Check out those awesome Exo-Apes made out of Exoforce bots. He’s also made a exo-scorpian out of the bot parts.
