The sort of LEGO-themed food you generally see is that nasty licensed stuff you can get in stores. And most of the LEGO cakes and other homemade food look like melted bricks. But Flickrite hello_naomi uses what my wife says is probably fondant to create gorgeous cupcakes I want to eat right now.

Rocko borrows an ingenious idea from FBTB member 11numb to create a funny little vignette. The pouring water is also great, but the combination of these two interesting techniques blends into the background thanks to the hilarious subject matter.
In response to our recent post about ImpreSariO’s movie posters, reader Craig sends word of his own set of LEGO movie posters.
My favorite is The Simpsons Movie, proving once again that simplicity is often the best policy — that’s one round tile and 40% of a minifig torso assembly.

Klocki reports that the LEGO Store will soon be available in several new countries, starting with Poland.

Hi all, I have seen all the rumors and work with LEGO S@H and received finally the confirmation from LEGO Shop@Home that they will start new on the following markets: Norway, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic. I think that is fantastic and please feel free to share the following statement (I know it is very short but I will get you more when I get more – also keep your eyes open) with your groups. I hope that makes you happy.
LEGO Shop at home will be opening in Poland very soon! We will communicate the launch date to you when it is confirmed.Other countries that will follow after Poland are: Hungary, the Czech Republic and Norway.

I honestly can’t tell one humanoid Bionicle creation from another (sorry), but the life-like foliage in this vignette of “Nuala, magess of Earth” by Brickshelfer MuffinToa is pretty darn cool. The integration of SYSTEM pieces with Bionicle is what sets this apart — particularly in the green canopy of the tree.
