Chris Edwards has created a unique castle-themed boss battle in which a family of five heroes battle an evil jester unleashed from a magical spell book. While the landscaping is typically excellent, what brings this model to the top of creativity is the jester’s contagious spread of magic, infecting those who come in contact with it. This is so typical of a video game boss, which makes me want to pick up a controller and start pressing buttons.

iPick-a-Brick for your Apple iPhone [News]
Michael Huffman, creator of the wonderful LEGO image aggregation site BrickBuildr, has just announced the release of an online tool for the Apple iPhone to check the inventory of your local LEGO Store’s Pick-a-Brick wall.
Using iPick-a-Brick, you can select an order in which to display your results and you can filter by either color or part type.
Here are a couple photos showing iPick-a-Brick in action (courtesy Joe Meno):

And a couple screen shots:

The inventory is currently limited to the Orlando store, but additional stores will become available as people throughout the country begin contributing information. If you’d like to contribute data to this project, please contact Mike using the contact info in his LUGNET post.
If you’re reading this from an iPhone (and I know some of you are), you can access iPick-a-Brick from the following address:

Moko’s Kamen Rider
Long before the Power Rangers leapt across the Pacific onto American TV screens, Japanese TV was dominated by series after series of superhero shows, not least of which was Kamen (Masked) Rider.
Moko goes retro with his latest creation, an homage to the very first Kamen Rider:
From 1971 through today, Kamen Rider, his motorcycles, and the monsters he fights have been an integral part of the childhood of every child who grew up in Japan. That includes me, and this large-scale figure brings back a lot of great memories.
Jas Nagra wants to sell you some firearms & a delicious panini
Jas Nagra puts air intakes from Racers sets to good use for a purple storefront that sells guns to people like “Tracy.”
Using the same basic architecture, Jas swaps the pieces for paninis:
Cream! Get on top.
We regularly highlight the works of Adrian Florea (Olog) as he is, in my opinion at least, one of the most interesting and talented LEGO modellers around at the moment. This particular piece, the gunboat “David Tucker”, is probably my favourite of his, the multiply curved shape is delightful and very ‘non-LEGO’. Furthermore it made Prince‘s `Cream’ pop into my head and that’s always a good thing.
Battle of Yin and Yang
Noddy depicts the clashing forces of Yin and Yang in a dynamic vignette. Check out the view from above, which cleverly forms the Yin Yang symbol (warning: may induce seizures).

There are two more similar vignettes created in the past. Check out Bruce’s Yin to my Yang and Moko’s White and Black.
