On a less jibbly (definition) note, Moko has also posted some cool designs for minifig weapons:

Octavius Troopers by Dan Sibley

Dan Sibley presents a pair of multi-armed Exploriens troopers he calls “Octavius Troopers” (nice):

Moko has built yet another disturbing creation! This time its an alternate take on the world’s most famous mouse:

Brothers Brick reader RichardAM used the Contact form to let us know about a cool brick-built Elite from Halo, by Brickshelfer Mandalore:

Thanks Richard!

News: More Summer 2007 Set Pictures

And for those of our readers living in a cave or spider-hole, or perhaps held incommunicado against your will, to Nate’s list of summer 2007 Castle box art, I’m compelled to add City, Exo-Force, Batman, Star Wars, etc. (All via Eurobricks, where you can see new pics from Creator and Technic as well.)

My favorites…

From Star Wars, 7661 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Ring (Kit Fisto!!!):

From Batman, 7786 some sort of Batcopter with Scarecrow’s biplane:

From City, 7998 dump truck:

From Exo-Force, a very large mecha:

Drum roll… The new space theme, Mars Mission[!] (Apply the exclamation point at your own discretion.) I like the drop-ship thingy:

I’ll definitely get this drop-ship, but I’ll withhold judgement on Mars Mission as a whole until we can see better pictures of the minifigs.

Gryphon Rider by Rayhawk

Mike Rayhawk has created yet another incredible piece of art based on Lego elements:

Mike is an exceptional artist, who has done amazing concept work for Lego, as well as being the Lead Illustrator for the Knights Kingdom Lego theme. Mike has also done freelance work for various organizations, including the Jim Henson company.
Personally, I am a big fan of his art and am very excited about this latest piece. Way to go, Mike, you are awesome!

(There is also an alternate version in red and gold.)

Hine Corp. FDX-39 by nnenn

Much less colorful but no less awesome than his last batch of mecha (previous post), mystery-person nnenn presents an all-black mecha. I don’t know what a “core-point suppressor” is, and I don’t really care to learn what transpired during the “Yulnagii offensive,” but dang is this mecha cool:

Schvatts’ Necromancer

I never thought about it, but most necromancer minifigs are male, so it’s nice to see Brickshelfer Schvatts break the mold with this custom minifig of a female manipulator of the undead:
