Check out this amazing Predator bust by misterzumbi. Great use of those tentacles and nice work on the base as well.

Joel Johnson builds the UCS Millenium Falcon in 3:38
Well, not really. Boing Boing Gadgets editor Joel Johnson created a time-lapse video of himself building the Ultimate Collector’s Millenium Falcon:
Joel wonders what to do with all that LEGO now that the Falcon is done. I vote for more ships of his own design. You’ve got some skills, dude!
Thanks for the tip, Xeni!
EDIT: I didn’t read the whole post earlier, but Joel also has a great list of his nine favorite LEGO sets. From 497 Galaxy Explorer to 7036 Dwarves’ Mine, it’s a great list indeed.
Patrick Swayze chaser
Too much steampunk lately? Here’s something completely different, from Rocko:
Oh wait! Is that too steamy after all? Dang.
Lesson #1: Don’t ever let Emma Thompson cure cancer
The latest from The Brick Time (mrbrickbob on Brickshelf) are the protagonists of one of my favorite recent movies, I am Legend, starring Will Smith as Lt. Col. Robert Neville, here with his constant companion Sam.
Evil machine head – LEGO Terminator endoskull
Brickshelf user snyderman built a robotic machine head inspired by Terminator. It features moving eyes and jaw independently controlled by two motors.
The Flintstones Brontosaurus Bus
Brickshelf user Jalkow made a fun diorama featuring a giant Brontosaurus Bus from the cartoon The Flintsones. Hurry up Fred and Barney, or you’ll miss the ride!
More prototype weapons from BrickArms [News]
Corran101 recently won the Bladerunner vignette contest on the BrickArms forums, and his prize was a set of prototypes of new designs. The two designs are for the Auto-9 Pistol (the longer one) and PKD2019.
Click the picture above for the full photoset on Flickr, but here’s Corran101’s excellent winning entry:
The Black Lodge
At first glance, it looks like Rocko made some minifigs and furniture, but wait! Study the backdrop and you’ll see that it’s brick built as well! Check out the Black Lodge from Twin Peaks.
His skin was pale and his eye was odd.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is director Tim Burton’s latest collaboration with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. Sir Nadroj‘s vignette uses a partial basement to evoke a very “Burtonesque” atmosphere for his vignette version of a scene from the film.
I am not my LEGO collection
Adam Hally is both an excellent cartoonist and LEGO builder. His LEGO creations often have an artistic inclination, as his latest little scenes demonstrate.
“I am not my outdated computer”:
“I am not my futuristic designer floor lamps”:

Minifigs from Monty Python and the Holy Grail by Kyle Peterson
As “Armothe,” Kyle Peterson may be best known as one half of the team behind BrickForge, but he’s also a great minifig customizer in his own right. His latest set of figs is from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. From Arthur and Sir Bedevere (above) to Launcelot and Robin (below), the gang’s all here.
Check out Kyle’s Flickr photostream for more, including Galahad, Gawain, and my favorite, a French Knight:
“Now go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!”
Arvo builds Iron Man
I recognized the figure from the thumbnail, but passed it off as a shot of an action figure, but then realizing that it belongs to the Arvo bros‘ gallery, I had to check to make sure. Yup, I was wrong.
There currently aren’t any more pics available, as they tend to slowly update the gallery for some kind of suspenseful effect.
