Wookieewarrior crafts this iconic building from Harry Potter using tiles and plates to simulate the detailed texture of a cobblestone wall. The landscape is quite sophisticated as well, featuring four shades of green and parts we don’t see often such as tan levers used for grass.
The 2016 Creations for Charity fundraiser ends on November 30th. Now is the last chance this year to buy a custom creation donated by LEGO fans to raise money for giving LEGO sets to underprivileged children. This medieval village by robbadopdop is alive with details and action. Each building features different construction techniques and some are placed diagonally to achieve a natural layout to the village. The windmill on the hill create staple landmark to top off this medieval LEGO masterpiece.
The large diorama features lots of excellent details, including some great yellow hay bales under the awning on this green-roofed hut.
Jonathan Walker has the art of SHIP-building down to a science. His innovative organic designs and advanced building techniques are evident in his latest work called the Dreadful Angel. The curved engine core and the dual prongs are distinct features that come together nicely in one fluid model.
This idyllic Chinese building by qian yj radiates peace and tranquility. The dark grey bricks and the painted dark red wooden supports are popular among this style of architecture along with the blank white walls. This picture-perfect setting is definitely worth posing for a shot.
French builder Kloou. creates a detailed and technically advanced model of Rapunzel’s tower using tiles for the round tower. If you look closely, you can see Rapunzel’s hair is an actually braided piece of yarn. The builder certainly has not spared a strand of detail.
Just as stunning is the textured roof made of flag clips to imitate the individual shingles.
Alexis Dos Santos has you and your cargo covered with his steampunk skyboat to ferry it all across the skies. This multi-layered blimp is the first of its kind that I’ve seen that’s also excellently crafted and presented. The sand-green cabin is a nice touch to break the earth-toned colors.
