Wild to be wreckage forever

Hey, it’s my blog, I can quote poetry if I want to. Michael Jasper presents a batch of wonderful — if unridable — motorcycles:

Well, you can ride them if you only have a torso, but that’s a sacrifice I’d be willing to make to look this cool:

Run away! It’s BananaBot!!!

Izzo reminds us that BananaBot is not to be trusted, for he is our enemy:

Stinky, nasty BananaBot — he’s a tricksy one.

Curses! Foiled by his slimy peels!

RIP ChocoBot (2007-2007)

Izzo promises that ChocoBot is our friend:

Oh noes! Run, ChocoBot, run!

Sigh… So long ChocoBot, we hardly know ye…

Awwwww, doggies!

Moko (boy, is that guy prolific!) seems to have wrapped up his furniture series and started a batch of dogs, including an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene version of his Jack Russel:

I’m sorry Dave, I’m afraid I can’t do that.

Kelly McKiernan puts the Exo-Force light-up brick to good use as HAL 9000’s evil red eye:

(Via LegOficina dos Baixinhos. What, you don’t peruse LEGO blogs in English, German, Japanese, Polish, Spanish, and Portuguese too? Hey, LEGO is the common language for fans worldwide. :-D )

Anti-Aircraft Artillery by Jehkay

Beautiful use of dark green, with wonderful details like the mouth and toes, on this bug-like mecha from Jehkay:

News: Harry Potter 5378 Hogwarts Castle Photos

Millionaire Playboy has wonderfully detailed pictures of the new 5378 Hogwarts Castle set. Head on over there for the video podcast, but here are the highlights for me — the minifigs!

Dolores Umbridge and Hermione Granger both sport new hair:

The weirdest, coolest LEGO head ever on a mystery character (another Deatheater?), and a new Draco Malfoy:

And my favorite, Hermione holding a mandrake root:

Nnenn’s Evolved X-wing

The X-wing Evolution contest over at FBTB Forums is yielding some interesing takes on what a hypothetical future version of the X-wing would be, not least of which is Nnenn’s entry:

I have been trained in your Jedi arts...

Erik Cruz improves on the official General Grievous minifig with longer limbs and a bigger (custom) cape by MMCB:

SnoOps

And be sure to check out Zook360’s Stikfas — not LEGO, but still pretty cool if you like good customization.

Real men (and T-800s) wear black!

Decent weather afforded me the opportunity to photograph lots of the minifigs that have been waiting in piles around our living room. I’m too impatient to dole them out slowly, so I uploaded them all at once, which obligates me to blog ’em all, I suppose. ;-) Anyway…

Here are Agent J and Agent K from Men in Black:

T-800 Model 101 (as played by the Governor of California) from The Terminator (with weapons by BrickArms):
